Created expense report and submitted - noticed that the date changed on the expense - tried to go in and change - no can do. Then deleted and created new - it somehow reverted back to date of the deleted one????
Hope it’s a bug that’s fixed soon

Thanks for writing in about this! We're sorry about the issue, but yes you are correct, this was a bug and it has been resolved in our latest update Version 7.8.0. It is now live in the Appstore and should be back to normal now. So sorry for the inconvenience! I snapped a receipt. It then immediately pops up asking for the receipt details. What? I tried to skip because I saw a review response that says you just need to save the pic and then everything auto populates. False. I could not move forward without pulling the receipt back out of the trash and entering the details for the app. I tried to enter the event the expense is chargeable to, but only general is an option. I can’t even create and tag the actual event this expense should be tied to... pointless.

We're sorry to hear your frustration. The way TravelBank was designed, the receipt should be scanned first and total reimbursement entered to confirm, and the rest of the information (date, merchant, etc) will then start to appear if it recognizes any. If it is necessary to manually input the information, you can click into the photo of the receipt for reference.
As for assigning the expense to a specific event and only seeing general, it sounds like you are referring to the 'Assign To A Report (Optional)' field. You can select from a drop down list of created reports, so if general is the only option you saw, that would mean there are no current reports open. You can create a report in the 'Reports' tab by selecting '+ New' in the top right corner.

Good app with a clean interface. When clicking on the menu to change to a different screen (especially reports) sometimes it does not react well. Also there is no way to undo finalizing a report unfortunately.
This app is great. I use it to keep my receipts organized to make sure I am getting my rewards correctly
Useless app if you are not living the the US. How hard can it be to have the choice to change your default currency into Eur, Jpy or whatever?!?!
Have used it for about two years. Works great. The support team is approachable, which is definitely a plus.
I do want to suggest, please auto populate the exchange rate. When I am in a country, I have to repeatedly enter the conversion factor for every expense. If it can stay their until I change it, that will be better.

The UI looks stellar. But their servers never work. I tried booking a flight through them, I kept getting unknown errors, oops errors and so on. Turns out they forgot very basics of enabling CORS on their servers. Their chat support is also very bad. Won't recommend booking with them when you are in an urgency.
