Simple and Efficient

Easy to just pick up a car, helpful customer care team and super convenient. Just had a great day exploring Riyadh !!

Scam

In theirs cars inJeddah they claim that u car rent per minute however it’s a scam cause u can’t end the trip ,though u follow all instructions and take pics the. Once the key is inside and car is parked and locked .. won’t let u end the trip cause “ignition is on” though it’s off for 30 mins!!

What makes is it a full blown scam is that no customer supper within the app .. so they steal u while u only get to watch 😂

Incredibly easy app and service

The ease of use is amazing! The cars are great and well placed around town.
The only negative i would say is that they dont cover Saadiyat island in Abu Dhabi and there is no email to warn you that your documents have expired before u actually use the app after some time.

unpleasant experience!

I recently had a very disappointing experience with the ekar application. The app itself was extremely frustrating to use, with numerous glitches and issues that made the process of renting a car unnecessarily complicated.
To make matters worse, the customer service was absolutely terrible. When I reached out for help, the responses were slow and unhelpful. It felt like the representatives were not interested in resolving my issues at all. Overall, my experience with ekar was horrible, and I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Worst service and experience

Everyone is giving one star review because its true , this company is nothing but a scam , for pay per minute its a lie, its a pay per 10 minutes so if u drive 11 minutes they will charge you 20 minutes,
And if you rent car and its not working like batterie or fuel at 0 or anything they will tell you no refund you are out of luck , thats what happened to me , most of cars are broken and not working ,
Customer service doesn't exist ! U need to send email and wait hours under the sun

Poor customer service

The car battery died in our monthly rental and they spent the day promising that a technician would call within 15 mins every time we called and even promised a repair within the hour. We’re now left without a functioning car and will need to pay for a taxi to the hospital. Terrible customer service and lying.

Worst service you can imagine

Whenever you think, this company’s service can’t get any worse. They always prove me wrong. They just get worse and worse every time.

They always provide you with the dirtiest cars. On Friday they don’t send people to wash the cars for you. They tell you that you have to go and wash it yourself at a carwash and only offer you the cost of the carwash. They’re supposed to pay us as the customers to do that for them as they’re taking time from the customers and take time from the rented time to have the car washed.

Unfortunately, I can’t give a rating lower than a one star.

Needs to improve customer support

I’ve used the app multiple times to rent on a daily basis, and it’s worked effortlessly. I needed to rent a car for 8 days. So I called to say I wanted one for just over a week, but when I click on the option it just says 7 days or 1 month. They said to rent for 1 week and then on the day it’s supposed to expire, to extend by 1 day. I specifically asked them if they were sure that I could extend for only 1 day at the end and that it wouldn’t be for 1 week, and they confirmed that I could. When I eventually went to extend after the week had passed, I was told that I couldn’t extend by 1 day only, and that it would extend it for 1 week because I had subscribed through their subscription model rather than their other one. No mention of this when I had called to clarify all of this prior to renting the car. And obviously no solution was offered despite their miscommunication other than for me to go return the car and rent a new one for 1 day. Disappointing service.

Incompetent customer service

It takes a lot for me to write a review….these guys are completely incompetent!

One of the most selfish and greedy companies ever.

I’ve used their service for 2 weeks and then I had an emergency and had to park my car near the train station which lies outside their E-map. I’ve contacted them and informed them of my situation and they said that they will charge me a fee for bringing the car back, I agreed. However, they left the car there for days and then charged me for all of those days and required me to pay them, plus the fee already mentioned. No amount of complaints fixed the issue and then today I received a text informing me that they have starting a legal complain against me to freeze my bank account for not paying that fee! Absolutely selfish and petty!
