App Update is Awful

For several years I used this app and it was absolutely wonderful. They completely updated the app with a new UI at the beginning of the year and now it's practically unusable. When I update my meals for my snap pass it incorrectly shows me orders for the previous weeks. Other times it just shows me down right wrong information. Multiple times now my order for the week has been incorrect and I'm unable to change it or edit it correctly in the app. It's so bad that I'm considering canceling my weekly subscription with Snap Kitchen.

Former Happy Customer

Have used snap kitchen in the past and was always happy. Meal were delicious, nutritious, arrived cold if not frozen, with enough cold packs that it could sit for 24 hours or more and still be 100% safe. (Occasionally one or two would be broken from transport)

Now I’ve moved and wanted to try them again. Day of delivery I checked multiple times to see if delivered. Finally at 7pm I figured it wasn’t going to be so had to go get dinner somewhere else vs eat my snap meal.

Package was delivered sometime after 7pm on day of delivery, by the next morning when I had time to go pick up my package the whole thing was at 75°. Contacted customer service and told them what happened and sent photos with the food thermometer reading, email notification of delivery from 12:02am the next day. They said it was delivered on day of delivery. Had to go around with customer service for a while and ask to cancel my next order and refund for current order. Would not cancel and refund the next weeks order even though it was a full week before delivery.

They did refund the current delivery but only after multiple times showing photos that delivery was inedible from being hot, sending delivery email from 12:02am the next day, and pointing out that there should be enough cold packs to keep it cold through the night if it wasn’t going to be delivered until almost 8pm on day of delivery.

Snap is great, app has a major bug

Snap Kitchen is great. Food is delicious, easy to prepare and nutritious.

The app however has a major bug. The app’s back arrow as a navigation control is not functional. I use an iPhone 14 Pro and the back arrow displays behind the iOS clock in the upper left of the screen. Touching the arrow isn’t recognized. So the only way to navigate back is to close out of the app and reopen. Very frustrating.

Hope they fix this bug so I can up my rating to a 5, where it would be otherwise.

Can’t even use app

I don’t think I’ve ever encountered this many issues trying to give a service my money lol. This app is so buggy I can’t use it. I’m trying to sign up to have meals delivered and nothing in the app seems to work to allow this to happen.

First off, on my iPhone 14 pro, the app has elements stuck behind the dynamic island, including navigation links. So you can’t click on the links hidden back there at all.

Other navigation elements simply don’t work, such as the “back” arrow. So I constantly get stuck and have to close and restart the app.

But the worst part is it simply won’t let me sign up for the delivery subscription. When I click that option, the app crashes. Every time. So I can’t order anything.

I have a relatively new phone, latest iOS and app version. I have no idea how other people are using this app. Super frustrating!!

Shady business

Shady business that auto enrolls you in a weekly subscription without your permission and then takes money out of your bank account. And then when trying to remove your credit card info from their app, it’s locked!!! There’s literally a lock icon next to it that does not allow me to delete MY bank info!!!!

great app but needs main nav fix for 14pro

well designed and built however, i switched to a 14pro and the main functionality at the top of the application (back button, menu and search) overlaps the status bar and im unable to select any of those items). ie: if i select 'lunch and dinner' i have to close and reopen the app to get back to the home screen. additionally if i use search to get to your app it takes me back to search. will you be updating this issue soon i hope? thanks :)

Great food, AWFUL app/ website

Love snapkitchen from their food to their staff. Their biggest problem is their terrible website and app. I am a member of the snap pass and often my order will be wrong due to issues caused by “glitches” (according to a member of staff”. Love y’all but please get this figured out.

Can’t log in

I love Snap Kitchen, and I use my web browser to order food. I figured out they have an app and decided to download. I can’t seem to login. I know I’m using the right password because I can still log in through the browser.

UPDATE:
I left snap kitchen for a few months due to budget constraints. Now that I have returned, I’ve tried using the apps again. I can log in now, but I was unable to restart my subscription and order anything in the app. Looks like I’ll continue to use the browser.

App if Frozen…

I updated my info in the app and wanted to make an order for delivery and the app is frozen and does not respond. The only way to get it to work is to delete it from the phone and start over and then it freezes again. Terrible user experience. Looks like I’ll just delete the app and recreate these meals on my own for less hassle!

Didn’t receive my first order

The shipment is just horrible. They use OnTrac to ship the meals and OnTrac says the order is delivered, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. I even searched it in all places in the community but never found it.

It’s not just about not receiving the food, but also about the time invested in choosing the food and Snapkitchen over others. Such a huge disappointment.
