  • Works 1st time and then won’t read again

    It worked great the 1st time. Tried again and it recognizes the device and says reading data and then go back to looking for device…..endless frustrating loop. Please fix.

  • App is Garbage

    Should have read the reviews before buying this charger. The app is a waste of time, won’t connect again after the first time just boots you out. Only works the first time and the “fix” is to disconnect from power and the battery to reset only to have it work one time again. I don’t want to do all that every time I charge my cart.
    Worthless.

  • Love the Charger, but the App . . . .

    It works I guess. It gives odd conflicting information about the State of Charge and sometimes it won’t give any information, it starts to connect and then goes back to then”connect” page. More times than not I get a Red Light Error that it’s reached “max” hours. I’ve had several discussions with Lester Support and they are sort of helpful but not completely. Maybe, they are too technical. It’s complicated bc there are issues that affect it that they don’t explain to you. I’m not an engineer. The merchant is no help either. The charger seems to have kept my batteries charged and in good shape, but the App leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve had this for several years and there has not been a single app update. Surely, the have repaired some bugs? I paid extra for this charger for the app use. I want reparations!

  • Good idea but

    I have a 2008 Club Car golf cart that I replaced the charger with a Lester charger. It is an excellent charger, and does what I wanted. It should make battery maintenance this winter much easier.
    Now the for this app.
    When it works which isn’t very often is nice.
    I downloaded it to my iPhone, and it connected to Bluetooth and worked as advertised. I used it a second time, it worked again. Then after that it no longer shows up in my Bluetooth device list. When I run the app I see the serial number of my charger, so it knows that the charger is there.
    When you select the device, the spinning starts and you get the message reading data. Then you see the message no device found, and you are right back where you started.
    The fix was disconnect the charger from ac power, and disconnect from the battery. Delete the app from the iPhone. Reinstall the app, reconnect to the battery, but don’t plug in the charger. Next launch the app, and things are working again. Now you can plug in the charger.
    Then after you run the app a second time, you are right back where you started, and the delete sequence needs to be done again.
    Apparently the app seems to delete itself from the Bluetooth device list on my iphone.
    I hope they get the app fixed, because it is pretty worthless working like this.

  • Horrible

    What’s the point in paying for a Bluetooth charger to see the state of your batteries and charging status if the Bluetooth never works… this app is just in a constant loop of searching and crashing.
    When you try and connect to it the three lights will flash on the charger for a second and then it fails. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, making sure iOS was completely up to the current version and deleting and installing the app again. Nothing ever works. I have made sure all other apps were closed on my phone, tried airplane mode with just Bluetooth on, dozens of restarts, unplugging and re-plugging in the charger… HORRIBLE…

    Here’s the thing, yes, the charger still charges the batteries, but a much cheaper charger can do the same job this charger does without the added crappy app.

    I don’t typically leave reviews often but this is just awful…

  • Needs an update

    Hopefully they update this app, charger works but app needs work. Will only connect to the charger once, after it starts charging, you can not reconnect unless you unplug and replug. I like the idea of using the phone to change battery profiles and check battery state of charge but this app needs a lot more work.

  • Very poor app

    Basically worthless. You have to be right next to the cart for it to recognize it. Then it won’t provide data. Does a quick summary flash and keeps searching again for the charger. I have to remove the seat to see if it is charging. There is no way to see any info on the app. It is useless. I have removed and downloaded the app several times. Still useless. How can a company like Lester provide such poor quality apps?

  • Garbage

    This app is 150% a selling point for these chargers and is 150% trash as it rarely ever works correctly.

    Boots you out for no reason whatsoever, has to load different data for every screen you touch (which takes forever), have to make a login to change battery profiles, and every single time you connect to a different charger (or disconnect and reconnect to the same charger for that matter) you have to log in again.

    Hopefully our shop can get away from these chargers and this app and never look back.

  • App is crap

    The app connected the first time. Went to go back in to manage the settings and now won’t recognize the charger. Tried uninstalling the app, still nothing. Don’t advertise Bluetooth when you don’t have a proper functioning app.
  • Good charger not so good app

    I now have two of the Lester summit 2 chargers and both have about a 50/50 shot if I can connect to them viva blue tooth.
