Good App- Good Product
Lester summit 2 charger is an excellent OBC option. The app works great once you make the proper selection for set up. Customer service does a great job helping if you don’t know what you’re doing. I e-mailed my inquiries and got responses within an hour that were detailed and helpful!
Blah performance
App does what is says. Not very impressed.
I can connect to my battery charger and get the data.
Not sure why the charger electronic are powered by the batteries that are being charged. Better than adding a AC to DC power supply. Oh wait?!?!.
Bluetooth is cool. But why not WIFI? I have to run out to the garage with my phone to get a battery status? Not cool. Since I’m in the garage, I can view the status LEDs on the charger itself. Don’t really need my phone.
Would be nice to control a DIO Line or a LED driver with the app. Could enable and disable the fans I use to blow off the battery gases and cool the charger.
My charger was setup at the dealer, and many of my features on the App are not enabled.
It always seems to default to 65% battery charge when connected. Little odd..
And takes a long time to update the graphical battery charge display.
App functions great. Just needs to be WIFI.
I Read on one of the reviews where the company doesn’t seem receptive to make changes to the app. I’m a software engineer and peer reviews are sometimes difficult. Don’t have to make all changes at once, but do consider your customers input to your app. Got an awesome baseline. Keep up the good work.
And the Charger is awesome!!

Poor connection
Keeps on disconnecting from the phone.
Doesn’t work
The Bluetooth doesn’t work. Won’t connect to my charger. Such a waste.
Serious flaw needs to be addressed
One major and one minor issue:
1) When the charger is not connected to A/C power, the app falsely displays 100% charge at all times. When the app connects to the charger it shows a nice graphic of a battery rising from 0 to 100% charge and goes so far as to report, “State of Charge 100%”. This is reported regardless of the batteries’ actual state of charge! This is akin to a car’s fuel gage always reporting a full tank.
No information is much better than incorrect information! I spoke to a support person at Lester Electrical and their take on it is basically, “that’s the way it is” and has been for 3 years and “the app isn’t meant as a battery indicator, there are dashboard gages meant for that”.
To make matters worse, this serious deficiency isn’t noted anywhere in their external documentation.
The person I spoke with said he will bring this up to the design team. Hopefully they will see the importance of presenting only factual and verified information and make the necessary changes to the app. Ideally they will change it to read and display the actual voltage, only time will tell.
2) the app expects you to know battery charging terminology. E.g.: what does the “Balance” button do? What are phase 0, 1 & 2? A simple FAQ could cover this.

Won’t connect
The app won’t connect to the charger, it just doesn’t find it even when the charger says AC power. Also it’s super finicky too use with the UI being hard to understand. Some Play Store reviews say that they need to pay to use but not here. Don’t recommend this brand of chargers.

This is so hard to understand , can’t figure out
Raised to 4 Stars
I originally rated at 1 star due to repeated connection failure and other issues. Turns out once my initial charge was performed the app connected and works much better. Apparently the charger must be connected to batteries with a certain charge level or the Bluetooth will drop out. Hoping they fix the issue.

waste of time .😡😡🤬🤬
time wasted
Useless app iOS
After considerable searching ( the QR code on the packaging and on the charger itself went to a page not found on the company’s website). Finally found it. Downloaded the app onto my iPhone X, connected to charger. Went to start setting up a profile and app quit. Now app will now not open. Then I downloaded it onto my wife’s iPhone, same thing on her iPhone 8 and on my son’s iPhone 8 when I tried his.
So now what Lester?
