Good support at Lester
I originally criticized this App. But after talking to Lester support, they said an iOS update caused a conflict with the last version. They said to delete and reinstall the App (and now it works [Not!….] as advertised).
Edit: it’s back to the “not found” problem. Lester should really spend the time to fix this App since it’s the only entry point to managing chargers.
The charger, however, is great!For_sure

Charger itself works great. App is junk. Have to uninstall from my phone every time I want to look at status. After reinstall it works maybe 20% of the time. Currently haven’t been able to connect for two days. FIX YOUR APP. PAID ALOT OF MONEY FOR THIS CHARGERjcmhtfds
Useless
The concept is nice, however on only two occasions have I gotten any useful information about my battery charging status. All other attempts (many) the app apparently connects momentarily since all three LED lights come on, but then immediately disconnects without showing any information. It then proceeds to go through this same round robin repeatedly with no results ever displayed. I have reinstalled it several times with same results. As my subject states: useless. As far as I can tell, the charger itself appears…appears to be doing a good job. But couldn’t tell by using this app.ivhfrtd6

Charger has been great. They just updated and now my charger won’t connect to my phone. It tries to connect and kicks me out each time. Basically useless app now. Please help.walshf09

Just doesn’t work
I carefully read instruction and downloaded the charger connect app. I can find my charger but once I click on it some bogus unreal status charge info comes on briefly and then I go back out to main screen again where it allows me to pick the charger. What a piece of junk!xjxjxjxjxnxh

Lester summit 2 charger is an excellent OBC option. The app works great once you make the proper selection for set up. Customer service does a great job helping if you don’t know what you’re doing. I e-mailed my inquiries and got responses within an hour that were detailed and helpful!mickeyt1311
Blah performance
App does what is says. Not very impressed.
I can connect to my battery charger and get the data.
Not sure why the charger electronic are powered by the batteries that are being charged. Better than adding a AC to DC power supply. Oh wait?!?!.
Bluetooth is cool. But why not WIFI? I have to run out to the garage with my phone to get a battery status? Not cool. Since I’m in the garage, I can view the status LEDs on the charger itself. Don’t really need my phone.
Would be nice to control a DIO Line or a LED driver with the app. Could enable and disable the fans I use to blow off the battery gases and cool the charger.
My charger was setup at the dealer, and many of my features on the App are not enabled.
It always seems to default to 65% battery charge when connected. Little odd..
And takes a long time to update the graphical battery charge display.
App functions great. Just needs to be WIFI.
I Read on one of the reviews where the company doesn’t seem receptive to make changes to the app. I’m a software engineer and peer reviews are sometimes difficult. Don’t have to make all changes at once, but do consider your customers input to your app. Got an awesome baseline. Keep up the good work.
