Zum app flawed

I would like to request that the software developer of the ZUM app make it more resilient to bus driver failure (to mark my son as a passenger) by allowing me to see the bus arrival time regardless of my son's riding status.
My son is in fact on the bus, but the app says that he is not and therefore gives no arrival time for the bus.
My son takes the bus home from school and the bus is always 1-2 hours late. He is always marked as not on the bus on the ZUM app. The ZUM app does not show the ride information when he is marked as not on the bus. I am unable to plan when the bus will arrive because the ZUM app does not tell me when the bus will arrive.

Not a good compony

I recently started working at zūm and this is my recent experience. I had applied for bus driver. They canceled my training 3 times then gave me no reason why it was canceled then had gave me a application as bus attendant that was $10 less then the position I wanted. I obviously was not happy but took it anyway to get my foot in the door. In my interview with a man, he had told me I would be able to get my CPR training. I was later told this was false and I would not be getting CPR training and that it was not needed since it wasn’t mandatory. During my training I was also told I would get 6 hrs during my training as they guarantee their employee 6 hrs a day. This was also false. Then when I had completed my training for special education and wanted my printable certificate just to be able to add to my portfolio for experience they denied me then and told me it wasn’t needed for me to have a certificate. If this company is this much lack caring for their employees what to say how they think or care about your kids. The fact they didn’t want to give me CPR for the safety of your children also shows they are unreliable. I had also left a review on them on indeed and it was rejected. I’m here to stand and not let them get away with their behavior.

Good app but could use some improvements

I like the app for tracking my kids school bus but this latest update has made it worse. It asks for a driver review every time without being able to bypass. Doing it 2x a day for pickup and drop off for the entire school year is too much.

I love the ability now to see how early or late the bus will be without being in the dark or waiting in the rain. Easily 5 stars once it gets fixed.

Love and upgrade idea

I love knowing when the bus is coming and when my child is picked up from school to come home. We avoid waiting and wondering. I wish rating the driver after each ride was optional. I’d love to be able to skip that and get back into the app.

Pick up time keeps changing

I am very happy with the driver and the app efficiency. I am not happy with the constant change in morning pick up time. Our family schedule works better with a set pick up time in the morning.
The previous bus service would rarely make changes in schedule unless there is a good reason. We have not been informed of the cause yet.

Drivers not following routes.

It is great to have real time information on bus routes. But communication is challenging. We have been experiencing some frustration and confusion between the assigned route and the route the driver is taking - which has kids on bus for an additional hour or more in the PM. My kid comes home exhausted and nauseous. This has happened before when there is a new driver, but not sure why this is happening this time. Driver does not communicate - just that it is “her preferred route” Zum rep confirmed it is unacceptable, School district also said it is not okay. But it is still happening. Hopefully this can be remedied soon, but it is troubling.

Dreadful

Absolutely dreadful service! This school bus company has consistently failed to meet the most basic expectations. My child has been brought to school late on numerous occasions, causing them unnecessary stress and missed learning opportunities. It's reached a point where there have been days when the bus simply didn't show up at all, leaving us scrambling for alternate transportation. Their unreliability is beyond frustrating, and it's clear they lack the professionalism and commitment required for such an important responsibility. Avoid this company at all costs if you value your child's education and punctuality!

Nightmare to work with.

I have two students that use Zum and they have been 10-30 minutes late tens of times. They supposedly show up and wait 2 minutes and mark that the child doesn’t come out and leave without me ever knowing they were here. I have to call the school district to fix rides, they won’t fix them through their customer service. The app doesn’t track rides half the time and I don’t know ETAs.. I’m not big on leaving reviews, but I’m so sick of this stupid agency.

Half the time the app doesn’t work properly

So Seattle Public Schools decided to use Zum for their transportation supplier and they have been terrible. The app doesn’t show the location of the bus half the time and often her afternoon rides are missing or unscheduled and late. If I didn’t have to use Zum I wouldn’t.

horrid sign up system.

I’m a teenager, with no parents, and i get rides through this system.
i’ve been trying to make an account since the beginning of this school year, i’ve had to cancel rides when the driver texts me and feel horrible about it because i can’t cancel them through the app because it won’t let me make an account.
i’ve followed the steps, and i continue to not get an email from you guys.
