Autel Robotics could be considered the underdog in the drone world, however they are really kind of the best kept secret. Their customer service is top notch and always professional. They offer their customers a more personal experience, rather than just being a number. They also listen to the feedback of their customers, including requests and suggestions in their updates. The reason for the 4 stars is the current lack of live streaming capabilities and tracking options on the drone. Once these are implemented I will be changing to 5 stars. Hopefully, we will see the release of the 20MP camera very soon as for now I am holding off on another drone purchase awaiting this.Show lessSoul Thief

Autel Robotics makes the best 4K drone on the public market.
I have logged hundreds of miles on my X-star Premium drone.
I was always the skeptic with drone purchases and had seen many people waste their money on DJI that crush the blacks with terrible cameras. The 4K Sony CCD that comes with Autel x-star premium system is flawless and allows editing the blacks. The app functions perfect with the drone.Show lessastroniko

The app is up to the same standards as Autel and their X-Star series Drones. While there may be a few issues people want fixed, functionally the app performs flawlessly. Autel is working to expand function of the app and we all patiently wait to get future updates.
I have owned the X-star for a few months now and have many flights on both the previous and current app and both have performed very well. You can read forums and view videos on drones in direct competition with Autel and see all kinds of issues dealing with what appears to be bugs. While you will hear some complaining about Autel the complaints are usually more specific and about functions not yet available to Autel.

I love Autel
First off their drones are perfect for what they are. They have a great business model and awesome costumer service.
The app itself is one of the main reasons I bought this drone and I'm very happy with it. Display, telemetry, flight modes and camera settings function excellently. You also now get auto flight records which are perfect for reviewing flights and cataloging surveys. Also great if you lose the thing.
