    Having dual citizenship with Italy I read there great posting daily

    They keep me up to date on Italy’s daily events and the Local does not pick political sides like the other media sites that’s is all propaganda and lies.

    There postings are about good Italian events that are positive in Italian culture

    The local is fun and useful for Swedish news in English. Good variety of stories, great writing and good podcast too.

    Well researched articles. Always informative, current and topical. Covers all aspects of life in Italy; cultural, legal, linguistic, political and so the list goes on
    We’d be lost without it! A ‘must’ for people like us who have set up a new life in Italy

    Would also love to have the ability to bookmark articles, though maybe that is a function of the site rather than the app.

    No dark mode so hard on the eyes.

    They ask for suggestions but never replay.

    Also my own public comments are never posted.

  • Good mixture of news and advice

    I have the Spanish version and find it a good balanced mixture of Spanish news and advice
  • Poor service

    I cancelled my subscription a while ago, but noticed another direct debit was taken for renewal. They confirmed that my subscription will now run for another year and then end. However I cannot use the service as I need to re subscribe. Very messy and going around in circles.
