Great App and Sensors

I love your sensors and this app. I’d like you to take things to the next level.

You already let users set alerts based on maximum and minimum values of individual sensors. Why not allow different sensor values on different physical sensors to be used to trigger alerts?

For example I want to turn off my AC and open the windows when:

(Exterior_temp < Interior_temp) and (Exterior_dewpoint < Interior_dewpoint)

An interface to set alerts like this would be a great start. Later add the ability to trigger HomeKit automations and you have an attention getting feature, e.g.

Close the blinds when (Exterior_temp > 90) and (time > 5 PM)

No way to reorder sensor list

Maybe “reorder list” is hiding behind some kind of gymnastics like: hold down sensor with a triple tap while standing on your head and shaking the phone, but I can’t figure it out. It looks like you’re just stuck with whatever order SensorPush decides you will have. That’s really annoying when the top four items are things I almost never need to check, but the two that I do want to see are halfway down the list, so I can’t even just swipe to the bottom, I have to scroll down to find my most important temperatures.

Nice app works well!

I have been using the hardware gateway with several Bluetooth sensors around my house for the last six months. It does a good job collecting and logging data and because the sensors also have internal storage it can catch up with missing data if a sensor has an temporarily goes out of range. The app is stable and has nice graphing and data export features. One thing of note is if you install the app on a new device or haven’t used the app in a while then when you open the app it has to download all the previous history data until it catches up with the current day. This can take quite a while and will become more noticeable over time (especially if you have several sensors). It would be better if it was able to download the most recent day first an prior days in the background.

Great app, want more features

I love the SensorPush product and the app is great. I would really love a few features
-my first view when opening the app was a chart of all my devices. Opening each device individually to see the chart is burdensome
-an alarm for a sensor being offline for an extended period of time

Great product, looking forward to more

Excellent Product and App

Frankly, this is faultless. If I had the knowledge and ability to have done this I’d have wished to do exactly what you have.

The sensors are just beautifully minimal. That hides the obvious technology within to be so accurate. But the app must get a special mention too. Just wonderful!

No Background Refresh

I relied on this app and my sensors to alert me of freezing temperatures. Things were great until I got an iPhone 13. Now, the app will no longer refresh device readings unless I open the device screen in the app. This prevents freeze notifications, rendering the sensors mostly useless.

Need bolder font

App is fine and does a great job of what it was designed to do. My problem is I have a very difficult time trying to see the thin, barely visible font and lines. Please provide an option for better visibility.

Lots of Potential

This app looks great in dark mode. One enhancement it needs is a way to set the default time period for the charts. Currently it has hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly but defaults to hourly. That a bit too granular for looking for the overall temp. Yes, you can select another time period and it’ll redraw but setting a default for daily or weekly would be best.
Good sensors that are accurate and fast.

Wish for Apple Watch Companion App

I love these sensors and this app. I use it several times a day. But it would be so very helpful if the current temp and humidity could be displayed in a companion Apple Watch App - PLEASE!

Low battery alerts

They need an option to disable low battery alerts. The sensor has been working just fine for months on low battery, yet my phone beeps every hour to tell me the battery is low. I don’t care that it’s low. When the sensor dies I’ll replace it. Enough with the alerts about it.
