have some bugs
such as log in difficultly, change profile picture on other clients but can’t sync on ios, have some connection problems…The biggest complaint is don’t have small floating window while calling or video calling!!! I can’t imagine a communication software have no floating window.
If image of the front camera can be mirrored both local and network would be better.I want the others can also see the mirrored image.

Continues to disappoint.
- turn off typing notifications. - allow custom font sizes. - why are the sort options SO BAD? Have you never used your own app? - why can’t I delete empty rooms? - why can’t I search for open rooms within the app any more?
Also newest update loses about a half dozen of the most recently viewed posts every time you open the room/chat.

Very not ready for daily use.
The sound of each notification is too low.
Sometime receive notification sometime not.
The app crash a lot for no reason.
So many other thing too.
The only good with this app is video chat (5 stars)

Please add ability to change font size in settings
Buggy
Messaging is fine, but still buggy. I will see my previously sent messages over and over as if I recently sent them. Also, calls are awful. Half of the time they will not work. For some reason when I open apps or photos from the app, the speaker button will turn off. Very annoying app to use. Need to improve how calls work on mobile.

Bugs
Keyboard hovers over messages after a message was sent. Read status updates even if other person didn’t read a message yet. Everything else seems ok. Thank you.
2 minute limit on voice messages is asinine.
Why did you limit our messages. I’m describing an event that took place over the course of 4 hours. It cuts me off and is impossible to use anymore. Please increase the limit to 10+ minutes.
It's annoying it doesn't support background uploading files and photos

Was trying messaging apps to stay in touch with my family which is abroad, and wanted to stop using Meta products.
I found the UX of Element to be better than Wire (the bar is low) but the live video chat was a fiasco. The video was poor quality and became totally laggy, then out of sync within seconds.
Which makes this app unusable for me, unfortunately. Currently using Signal and FaceTime which are kind of satisfying.

So close to be good
It could be so good, but lungs make it unreliable. Randomly notifications will stop working, what good is a chat client if you don’t get notifications? This has been going on for years…
