I will probably delete
I just downloaded and I’m already frustrated. I found a few items that have incorrect pictures but the correct title of the item, and a few that the item that comes up is completely different. I also have a bunch of everyday items that can’t be found. I can’t figure out how to manually enter a new item. Also, is there a way that we can correct the incorrect descriptions?Show lessLC90210

Hi! Thank you for writing to us. You can edit items (change the name, change the photo) in a very easy way and also create your own if they are not available into our database. This is definitely a gorgeous, effective app that will allow you to track your pantry/fridge. It also has allowed me to share with my partner so we can both update things. The barcode scan function is particularly useful and can really help speed up things. As there are a lot of functions with it, you’ll want a bit of a stronger device (e.g. iPhone 8) to have it run seamlessly.
It has a ton of potential. Clearly others have taken note of this, as at time some local businesses have gone in and hijacked foods to advertise (eg scanning Bacardi rum and a liquor store comes up). But not only can you fix this in the app, but after reporting it I got an email saying they fixed the issues and provided further insights on the improvements they’re doing. I really appreciate that kind of dedication from a team.
I want to give it a full 5 stars, but there are still a couple of bugs surrounding if you want to change a picture or adjust spelling of the food. That being said, I suspect they’ll eventually fix this. All and all, it was worth the money and the support team is fantastic. Certainly better than most of what I’ve seen out there. Fingers crossed they’ll eventually make it compatible with Google Home.Show lessCade.

Kitchen Pal is exactly what I’ve been needing. It is a great tool for inventorying your pantry. The best thing is that it’s free. Also, it comes with amazing support from the developers. They really care about their product.Media person

This potentially is a really useful application. However, it seems that The customer is expected to Bear the brunt of doing the data entry. The current database is pitiful. Use this only if you want to do hours of unpaid data input.BBCGeoff
Great Concept
Myself and wife are guilty of food being wasted due to expired use by dates and duplicate buying so this app looked ideal and so far so good. Positives: Shared kitchen, alerts for food going past use by dates, recipes based on what food you have and smart shopping list. Negatives: Submitted recipes not being dealt with, better choice of recipes, food images don’t always match in shared kitchen, ability to create own areas (ie Fridge 1, Garage Freezer, Stair Cupboard). If these negatives could be looked into, would certainly increase to 5 starsShow lesshenabar

I am scanning barcodes and only 1/3 of my products are found. What was supposed to be a time saver is time consuming since I have to add most things myself. I am using normal name brand products as well. FrustratingKimmy Choo Choi
Great app but...
It’s a great app! I love that i can add all the items I have in my kitchen and gives me the expiration date and the option to decrease the amount so I know if I need to repurchase when I’m at the store. BUT I’m having an issue where the app always closes on me! Frustrating!!Lisawooo
