Overall, I like it
Overall, I would say that the app is a little bit slow, but I know it’s searching a whole database full of different foods. I really like that I can switch to storage for you so I can know that I have pantry items or fridge items. The fridge items are the ones that go off quite quickly. I would like to be able to enter the actual expiration date instead of saying six months one month a year. In one case I had to add an item. It was a store brand dressing and it expires in less than a year but over nine months so I chose nine months just to tell me. I sort of want notifications of expiring through this, but on the other hand, I don’t know how diligent I will be even entering that information. I went through a few applications, and I think this one is the one that’s going to stick. I hope it’s quite the feet to go through my entire pantry and scan everything but at least we can scan, that is a huge bonus.Show lessjessica.

We use the app to monitor inventory for an assisted living group home and have multiple staff who handle the inventory regularly. This app has allowed us to simply scan and delete as items are received and used and monitor levels while managers are away from the house. Absolutely love the ease of using this app and how quick we can get everything scanned in so we can get back to caring for our residents. On second thought….
Thought this would be the perfect app to track my pantry. The problem is when there is more than one person and having to monitor quantities, removing foods used in cooking and entering food purchased. It is just way too much work. I haven’t figured out a good way to best utilize it. I do like the recipe feature though!Show lessTN4UK

I’ve had this app for a few days and I love it.
I needed to put a little bit of effort in at first inputting the contents of my cupboards but it has been well rewarded. The more I use it the more features come to light (nutritional value, prices, notes and cooking tips etc). Being able to sort by expiry date means I can already clearly see what would otherwise linger at the back of my cupboards. The recipe section is excellent and I am finding the sections that show me recipes which I already have all the items for or for items about to expire very useful. I am looking forward to adding my own recipes and using the import function for recipe websites. I have a couple of dietary restrictions which I have been able to use filters for. The barcode reader is easily one of the best I’ve used and even picked up some items from small producers and an Asian grocers. I am hoping to start a planning habit which seems quite straightforward. I did have a few questions which were answered quickly by the friendly support team. Highly recommended (UK)Show lessRtgcdgg
Overall great app needs 1 more feature
The ability to enter other actual products that are not found in Database and that you want to track actual product down to size for items not in the database. For example Bulletproof coffee ground and the correct oz in the bag without having to use a general coffee name with wrong size.Gadgetgrltekkie

Me and my boyfriend use this app religiously. It helps us figure out what we have at home and what we can plan for dinner, all through text and from our separate workplaces.
The offer of a lifetime subscription is very convenient, cutting out the hassle and expense of a monthly fee. The subscription is not required and the app is still great without it, but we like it so we can upload our own recipes to the app.
As for correspondence, emails with questions and requests are responded to in a very timely manner.
My only note would be to add widget options. It'd be very cool to see the meal schedule or inventory on my Home Screen.Show lesscalagasuarus

Great app but it can take three or four tries to scan a barcode. In checking the barcode numbers, the wrong numbers come up, so I have to repeatedly rescan. Once it gets the numbers correct, the item comes up from the database. Please fix this as it is the only thing from making this app perfect.Tanya.Pnak

This is a good and useful program, but there are several necessary improvements needed to make it an indispensible app. There doesn't seem to be a way to personalize the options each user needs and time drags on after paying for what appears to be a "beta" version. Great for Pantry Management; HORRIBLE for recipes
I can manage my pantry just fine on my own. That wasn’t really the problem I was trying to solve when I downloaded this app. The problem was trying to figure out things I can make with what I HAVE on hand. This app indicated that it specialized in that process.
The app recommendations for dishes were complete garbage. I mean they looked like garbage: inedible. I realize this is technically complicated and AI is not “there” yet; but jeeeeesh. I have a stocked kitchen and the first recommendation was “Italian anchovy soup”…. Ummmmm no thanks lol.
I wish I hadn’t wasted the hour of my time inputting all of my ingredients into the app only to have it return completely useless results.Show less05west7side77

Basically, our app uses the 'associated ingredient' to categorize a product and also to find recipes that can be used with that product. The majority of the time, the app's algorithm selects the correct association, but in some cases where you encounter incorrect details, you can update/correct this as well. Simply click and open the item in your Kitchen list and scroll to the Product Details section.
