  • Give it zero stars if I could

Bought a couple of broadlink smart plugs. Downloaded the app, created an account and wasn’t able to add the plugs. The app kept telling me I wasn’t an administrator, even though I set up the account and was the only person on it. Absolute trash. Deleted the app and am returning the plugs, there are better products out there.

  • Privacy Issue

I noticed that this App is somewhat bypassing the iOS Privacy Control.

As this app is not listed in any of the iOS privacy control such as photos, contacts, camera, etc it only listed in the microphone column which iOS can allow or disallow such.

I accidentally press upload of pictures for my location and it happened that this App can access all my photo albums. However, this app is not listed in photos privacy.

Likewise, I doubt Italy possible be able to access my contacts, camera, etc.
Again, I don’t have privacy control on such as this app is not listed there.

Not quite sure if it’s a big of iOS or an illegal pass-thru from within the App.

This can lead to serious lack of personal information.

    AppStore should treat this seriously.

  • Problems with Alexa

Hi. Please, check Alexa issues with broadlink devices. Until yesterday, my devices (TV and Apple TV connected by Broadlink RC3 Mini) stop working and don’t accept voice commands. Alexa show devices, but rotines stop working. All command and scenes fine on ihc app (Broadlink iOS app).
  • Stopped working with IFTTT

I have used this app for several years to control an old window air conditioner but it just stopped working with IFTTT and seems I Connor get to login to it with IFTTT. There does not seem to be any English support available. I will have to use some other product if I cannot get my IHC account connected to IFTTT.

  • Shortcut actions needed

Good app, a bit slow to load content every time, could be snappier...
And it’s a shame that, not only doesn’t IHC support HomeKit, it also doesn’t support shortcut actions, which allows users to link the devices to Siri via shortcuts...
The only way to do that is by using ifttt and webhooks, and that, is most of the times not working due to some server issue or something!

  • Buggy and needs re work

Chinese Chinese everywhere, the app hangs several times and is unresponsive, missing several features and again , Chinese words or characters are all over the place, would be better to move to smart life app
  • Will not locate amake smart plug mini

I have tried several times to connect to my newly purchased Amake smart plugs. This is the only app required as per instructions on the device but the app won’t recognize. Any help resolving this issue will result in a 5 star rating, until than one star because the 20 plugs I purchased are useless.
  • Support issue (PLEASE FIX)

So a lot of my friends and I have an issue with the app. Before the update we could sign in with Facebook and now we can’t. There’s like 7 of us that can’t use the app to control our home stuff or log in. It’s a great app but PLEASE FIX
  • Perfect

This app is vary useful and excellent,
Appreciate if the developer look into this after ios 13, it seems that there is an issue when we are trying to add a new devices or configure some switches. I tried with ios 12 it’s working fine.
    Thank you

  • It’s fine but need many improvements

The app is just fine, it does the job but still missing many good features which can make it more useable .. first instead of that Chinese voice command, please do some improvements with Siri.. we need to add shortcuts to Siri for better usability. Also, I hope we can reprogram/re-learn the auto added AC remotes buttons, actually the whole way of adding remote buttons can be reinvented in a very nice way, like if we can rearrange the buttons as a grid or choosing from some layouts would be a phenomenal improvement .. I really like the way of adding multiple devices and appliances but it’s little hard to navigate between them and choosing the right remote every time, it needs to be a quick way to make the best of the utility we have as it should be used, maybe as a widget in Notification Center would help. Thanks and hope you hear me!
