  • Work flawless! Better using with alexa

I just 4 star it because it need improvement more and more. Sometimes my broadlink mini 3 and alexa get error connection like "TV isn't responding" or "fan isn't responding", but everything else work great.
  • Alexa control doesn’t work anymore after update!

Alexa says any and all devices are “not responding” after updating the iPhone app. Not sure how the connection works but the Skills store has blown up with people complaining. Also the app is incredibly confusing to use and badly translated. Not to mention no Siri/HomeKit support
  • What Happened to the RM3 Mini?

Suddenly after a few short days of using and programming four different devices using the RM3 Mini IR the RM3 Mini device as well as associated remotes disappeared.

When I go to add the RM3 Mini to start all over again, the option for adding the RM3 Mini is no longer an option.

Am I now stuck with an IR blaster I can no longer use? What gives Broadlink?

  • Works for me; need 1 change

I have it hooked up to Alexa through my echo dot and it works fine when I want to turn my radio on. Unfortunately my radio’s Off button is different than the On button, and there’s no way to program the On/Off buttons separately. So I can turn my radio on with Alexa but I can’t turn it off!

Please separate the On/Off button into 2 separate buttons.

  • Software update should be done with care

When it works, it’s great but any update should be backward compatible.

Recent update has crippled the application. Things that worked in the past had to re-do since they decided to change the way things work before.

Also more support is needed. In the last many days, I believe, your server that hosts gallery icons is down. Since no gallery icon to choose from when learning a new IR, it basically stopped anyone to add custom universal remote since there is no way of saving the button. Which means whoever just bought a broadlink devices would be unable to do most thing.

Hopefully it will be solve soon.

  • The application has a lot of problems

    Hello
I have a lot of problem with ihc app. Every time I do the configuration after few changes all device disappears from list. There is no option to do full backup of your configuration

End of the result the application ver poor .
  • Translation Broken

After the latest update some of my remote buttons are now in Chinese instead of English. The buttons still control the right things but are now in the wrong language. I can not find a language setting to change it back.
  • Problems to change the time of a timer.

When you want to put a delay or a lap timer for your aircon or tv, when you touch to put at what time did you want to turn on/off something automatically if it close the app and if you continue trying its always the same you only can put the time that says there.

Please try to repair this problem.
    Thanks.

  • Fails to connect to RM mini 3

I bought the RM mini 3 so that I could control my Apple TV (4th gen) and projector via Alexa. I first downloaded the e-Control app per the BroadLink instruction manual. After about an hour of tweaking and wrestling with the very unintuitive interface in that app, I managed to get the app controlling both devices. Unfortunately when I went to set up the Alexa skill, the instructions there stated that “the previous version of the app is not supported” and to download the IHC app.
After downloading this app and resetting the RM mini 3 device, the app fails to connect to it. This feels like a very broken ecosystem and a shoddy product. What a waste of time.

  • It works (with difficulty)

I had to configure the RM mini 3 using the alternative setup (ad-hoc wifi mode). The app failed to set up the device the normal way. This app is pretty basic and it take a while to learn the functions from my physical remotes. Did not support my Samsung cable box. The RM mini lags a little, so expect it to work as well as the real remotes. That said, it does work, so I guess it is worth it if you want to control your television from your iPhone.
