  • Do not update to 1.6.18. All my appliances topped working

UPDATE. I had issues in the previous versions. Somehow and, without doing anything, everything is working again. The app is good. I uses it to do many things but mainly to up/down shades. The best feature is the learning RF and Scenes. Very happy.

I just don’t know what they did but now I can’t call scenes created from this app from Alexa echo. I hope the fix it. Is there any way to install the previous version ?

  • Alexa Control Working

Update: Alexa controls are working again. This device works great with setting up RF devices to be controlled via Alexa commands. Setting up devices can be a bit cumbersome depending on how many controls you are mapping, but it works great once you set everything up and becomes discoverable using Alexa as separate devices.

  • Doesn’t work anymore with Alexa!!!!

Just bought a new RM Pro+ but won’t work with Alexa, I create a scene in IHC app and created a routine with Alexa and added the IHC scene to it but when I give Alexa a voice command the scene doesn’t take place. But the scene works in the IHC app. It’s not Alexa that’s not working I’ve tried other scenes and device commands with other 3rd party app and it works! Please fix It, it use to work perfect then it just stopped.

  • Works but far from excellent

I bought RM pro and should say it works and could meet most of my requirements. I use it to control my projector, e-screen and TV, and could also connect it to my Google Home to activate scenes. But there are something it doesn't support or has bugs:
    1. It doesn't support my LED remote because the remote control doesn't use 433mhz or 315mhz frequency. Yes, it only supports these two freqs.
    2. Default TV control panel template only have one On/Off button, but my projector and TV have On and Off on separate button.
    3. If don't use TV template, the user-defined control only list the button one by one and cannot change button positions. Which means you cannot design customized control panel.
    4. (Bug) If you plug off RM power or temporarily disconnect it from network, all your saved scenes saved in the app before will be all empty, but it is saved in the machine. It means Google Home still works but tap scenes in app cannot activate the right scene action.

  • FIX THIS APP. ALEXA CANNOT CONTROL.

When are you going to fix this app so it can control more than just TVs??? I can not control my device with Alexa, although I can operate said device just fine through the app. . I can control everything fine through IHC app, but when linking to Alexa, she finds the device but only says “XXX is not responding”. Useless until then. Easy fix, so just do it, been waiting a year now, for a decent fix. JUST DO IT

  • AC Settings Disappears!!

I bought 2 RM Mini 3, they work great. I can now control my TV, set top box, fan, or anything that uses IR to control.
HOWEVER, the only thing that DOES NOT WORK well is the AC controls.

    Here’s my scenario:
    1. Set up the RM Mini 3.
    2. Add AC.
    3. Find out the brand of my AC isn’t on the list.
    4. Add costume AC control by learning from the remote.
    5. Test run, works fine.
    6. My wife opens this app and login on her phone.
    7. Tap the AC button, but the controls and settings are not there. IT’S EMPTY.
    8. Repeat 2~5 on my wife’s phone, works fine.
    9. I open the app, the controls and settings are gone. WHY?????

I tried both methods, login to the same account, or create a new account and add it as an family member. They both lead to the same result.
If the problem is resolved, the app and the manufacturer truly deserves a 5 star review. 10 stars if they add the AC brand/model that I have, and I’ll love to recommend the Broadlink’s product to everyone.

Btw, my AC is made by Mitsuba, the model is SMB-45N.

  • Useless Broken And Broadlink Give 0 Support

OPen app, told that because of GDPR I need to download a new app, click download, it wont let me because the EU app isnt available here in the USA where I live. SO Now i cant use the old app, I cant use the EU app. Congratulations on a 100% fail. Yes locatrrion services are on, yes I registered in the US, yes to all you other inane questions. THis could have ben a great app, but the horrific slowness and general unusability coupled with Broadlinks months to do anything mean i might as well throw thre RM devices int he trash now. Useless organisation.

  • So close

My main reason for this app is to control stuff through Alexa. The problem is it doesn’t work for RF remotes. Only way to let broadlink set up RF remote is through user defined remote but Alexa wont register that. Then the next best thing for me would be to time set but that does not work at all.

App updated 3 days ago. Did not fix timer. Fix it!

  • Not working

After GDPR pop out notification it direct me to download the EU page and the app is not working at all only requesting to leave and download the EU version. The problem is that I’m not from or in the EU nor my Apple account is in EU store so always I got the error message that the app is only available in EU store not in your store. Finally I had to delete it.

  • Above average application.

The app is great and it does what it is supposed to do.

The only negative is that sometimes the order is not sent to the appliance from the first time, when we are away from the same wifi, but after several attempts, it works. This doesn’t happen frequently, to be honest.

Stability is an issue to work on.
