Fun if your patient.
Starts of great but then a lot of these farming type games do but then (as with all freemium games so it wasn’t unexpected) you’ll find yourself doing the weekly events for ages because expanding the playing area takes fooooorever unless your prepared to dig deep. Already I find some stuff taking 2 hours to make which isn’t really much good when your up against timed events and you’d think “I know, I’ll make stuff when there’s not much in the way of events going on” except you’ll find yourself running out of space to store stuff (yet again unless you dig deep) and events are going on all the time so you don’t often get to make stuff ready for later anyway. There’s also the orders board, helicopter celeb orders and other mission type things to do. All in all there can be a lot to do but it’s very much rinse and repeat and everything is based around those annoying, and nigh on impossible to get, gems.
It feels very much a Facebook game to me which can either be a good thing or bad, that’ll be for you to decide. For me it was short lived and became a touch mind numbing.

Great little game!
Really enjoy playing this game. All about supply and demand. Meet the orders and tasks and build your island resort. Glitches are a bit annoying though. I still have a snowman family that didn’t leave and I can never get my cruise ship visitor requests to register so keep getting a negative result. Three minute frenzies don’t always active resulting in having to leave the game as the screen is stuck! Overall fun and my grandchildren love helping me harvest and plant the fields.Show lessGameplaying Grandma
So far, so good.
Started to play this game recently and am at level 22. Enjoying it so far but will see how it goes. I don’t intend to spend real money after falling foul to a game where I did so but now the game is closing down.
Today the daily request requires being a member of a beach club. I did try joining a club initially but kept being told they were full despite them being recommended. Now I have given up and won’t be trying again. If I can’t just plod along by myself I will delete.
Turns out Zemis daily gift is a con. Been waiting to collect the last day and now it is saying it has expired - I take this back as when I looked later the last gift was available.Show lesscg62

Zynga’s single mission is to make money. If you don’t have many hundreds of dollars to spend don’t even think of starting to play this game.
If you have already started playing, take weekly screenshots of all the valuables in your account. If your account crashes and you don’t have screenshots Zynga will not reinstate what you’ve worked hours upon hours upon hours to earn. And if you play long enough I promise your account will crash. My island has been rebuilt 3 times. My teammate is currently having her island rebuilt for the 4th time! and she will lose months of hard work and progress because Zynga’s default is to think their players are liars and they will not only reinstate her progress to her last screenshots which was months ago. Zynga should learn about customer service from companies like Target, Costco, and Starbucks who by default believe their customers. Maybe then they would gain loyalty and have double or triple the players. Instead Zynga has become or maybe always has been greedy, stingy and all other such synonymous things.Show lessabetter-day
Liking the update! (At least for a short time)
*Update: ANOTHER month has gone by and the issue with cruise visitors not loading has still not been corrected... I have provided plenty of explanation of the problem, even photos to better explain and no response and no fix.
*Update: I seem to have spoken too soon, less than a couple hours after my review I started having issues again. Very unfortunate, I do enjoy this game, but it has been almost a month of the same problem(cruise ship visitors will not load which affects myself and my whole beach club as I can not contribute) and the Zynga support just seems to have stopped responding to emails.
I have been playing this game for years and still love it, recently I have been having lots of issues with certain things loading and progress being saved. I have been in contact with support, but had not been able to resolve the issues I was experiencing. I once again uninstalled the app and reinstalled and tried one more time, just to see because, again, I really do enjoy this game. I must say, I am VERY glad I did!! The newest update seems to have corrected the issues I was having with cruises and such. Also, game play seems so much faster and smoother, very very happy with the update! Forced update?
Why can’t WE decide when to allow an update? If I’m not where I have a strong connection or no way to connect to WiFi, it takes HOURS for me to update. Currently, it’s been 5 hours since I was forced to click “update” just to clear the screen. I just wanted to work on some of my recipes and crops while passing time. Nope. Watching the little blue circle of lost dreams sloooowly spin...

What are y’all players saying about “cheaters”? How can you cheat on this game? Oh... you mean the people that spend a little money to get boosts? That’s NOT cheating. That’s using money to get boosts. I’ve paid for the diamonds before so I could finish up a challenge sooner. How is that cheating? I got tired of waiting for it to get done. Also, if I use MY money to advance faster in the game, that’s MY choice. If you don’t wanna spend money, enjoy the slow train. I DO have a life outside of this game.Show lessChellz.Bellz

AWESOME GAME EXCEPT ONE THING.....
Awesome game but one problem... I have had a problem with the characters and game in general. Every time I log in it makes almost ALL the characters look the same, especially at the food places including the “fruit station” where the two people sit and drink fruit juice. I also have a problem with adds sometimes. I would turn on cellular data or WiFi and it would not give me an add for a reward. People have been saying there are lags and access points where it kicks you out or lags you out but, no. There is no part that does that. I have an iPad Pro so maybe they were just out of date or it’s just so old that it takes you out of the game. Please fix the fact that the adds don’t pop up and the duplicating thing, but otherwise, ITS AN AMAZINGLY AWESOME GAME.Show lessZay 15
Great game!
Great game but I’d like to see when my club members are online to live chat, stops lags between posts as often a question asked but by time of post, they are offline, when using ‘epic boosts’ I have to use it, then close the game down and reload to go back to the play screen. I’m on a brand new 2018 iPad!. Great game but not without its bugs, strange considering how old it is.
8/1/19 update. New member just joined my club and boosts they activated have activated on my island, and are showing as active on my panel. Wonder why and hope they weren’t mine and my account has been hackedShow lessStarfishbunny
Almost perfect
This game is almost perfect. It’s fun and very addictive. I play it everyday without fail. The reason I will not give it 5 stars is how much it costs to buy buildings and trees using in app gems and coins. The cost started out ok in the beginning, and the in app coins and gems you earned covered what you needed to buy with a little patience and maybe a bit of a boost with the purchase of some gems. Now that I have hit level 20 the cost of trees and buildings are unreasonable! This forces you to make more in app purchases to buy gems and coins to buy the trees or in my case a lobster farm :( How are kids meant to keep up if an adult is having to spend big $$ just to keep up with the levels??Show lessCassie-girl83
