  • This app needs serious maintenance

    When I first started using this app in 2017, it ran flawlessly but it clearly hasn’t been updated or maintained at all since then. It is absolutely rife with bugs, locks me out of my own account because it can’t remember my password for more than two weeks, and worst of all it won’t communicate by sending reset codes to my mobile or email. I know I’m not the only Glacier Bank customer considering closing my account and giving my business to another bank entirely because of this god awful, corrupted software. Also, their customer service reps are so useless and disinterested that it might be easier to automate the entire system by pressing keys. This app reflects poorly on Glacier Bank as an operation and shows how little of their budget is directed toward customer interface and overall makes me uneasy with the idea that they manage my money.

  • Put more work into this app

    I’ve been resetting my phone and opening and closing this app cause it won’t load, all I want to do is check my running amount, I’ve checked my internet and everything and nothing has changed. This app is absolute trash and is becoming a waste of my time all I want to do is see if I have money to pay for the things I need to pay for. This is completely stupid that Im sitting here wasting my time trying to see my money that I work for, and it just sits and loads for minutes on end?!?! How hard is it to make sure that your app works properly? Look at your reviews the majority of them are all 1 stars maybe take that into consideration that you need to make MANY improvements on your trash app.

  • Put more work into this app

  • Needed Features

    Some features that need to be added in order to keep up with the advancement of technology.

    First of adding a feature that sends notifications when a purchase, withdrawal, transfer or deposit would help tremendously. Texting and phones calls are not the most reliable anymore. I am not saying remove that feature because some people still need it today. Have the options be with switches in settings. It would be best to make notifications easy to access and switch. Also be having notifications when used with purchases would help with fraud and stolen cards if the owner of the account is notified. Allow the notifications to be customized per the four types of notifications.

    Remove the three lines as a navigation bar. Have a smaller on located on the bottom of the screen. This just looks cleaner and more organized.

    Make the app look more visually appealing. For a home page I would have a list of accounts each with a deposit, transfer and pay bill symbol with it. Add an arch over the amount/money that is glacier banks green. Have it turn red when an account is getting low on funding when a user has spent to much.

    This covers the basics but I would recommend to look at other banks and credit card companies to learn what appeals to their users. By improving the app this will help the company.

  • Bad enough to make me consider switching banks

    This app has so many flaws and it’s so horrendous I am seriously considering switching banks just to get away from this and the developers obviously don’t care, I don’t even usually leave reviews or comment but just seeing the overwhelming amount of negative reviews for this app made me feel obligated to express that this app is not for anyone who takes their finances seriously. There’s no notifications, payments take forever to show, I’ve had payments show then I’ll close the app and it will go right back to saying I never spent anything and that can be seriously harmful to someone who doesn’t pay attention to every penny they spend. It can tell you you have more money than you truly do and that’s the main reason I not only am considering but likely will switch banks, I have an amazing bank with great people and even they know how horrible this app is, DEVS DO SOMETHING!

  • Terribly unintuitive

    I got a new phone and loaded all my info for phone per the cloud. The only app that didn’t not load my Face ID of other info is the Glacier app. This bank is slacking in system updates, SIM cards are going away. HELLO Glacier!!! Time to catch up!!! It’s terrible I can’t access my account, would be nice to have access. Need to pay some bills. Plus as you can see the reviews are unbelievably low. Time to start thinking about the bigger banks. At least they are ahead of the curve. Plus anyone who holds people’s money should be opened 7 days a week. All banks slack with just a 5 day work schedule. I beat the first bank that is open 7 days a week crushes its competitors. So, now it’s time to read their stamped apology response to this review. Unpersonable as usual, businesses these days are lazy. This statement was made to benefit the bank, but they won’t listen. Why give them our money if the bank does work for us? sincerely, sick of the times.
  • Awful App

    Really sad with this awful and age old app.
    Can’t believe as the other Bank’s apps are so modern and user friendly that you don’t have to think about how to navigate through the app or how to make transfers, access your statements etc.

    Here in this app:
    1. It makes it such a terrible experience navigating through your transaction that you give up trying it as it takes too long to update and go to the next number of transactions.

    2. You login to your app but as soon as you log out and obviously when you’re trying to log out the phone is in front of you, so it immediately scan your face again and log you back in. I have to force quit my app every time.

    3. Can’t access my statements from iPhone app or Mac safari.

    4. Can’t transfer funds to my loan account from the app.

    5. Can’t access my loan account from the app.

    6. Setting up auto transfer is such a task similar to rocket launching.

    7. More than half of the features don’t work on the app as well as Mac safari.

    I have no words to explain that how bad my experience is so far with this banking app as well as the Mac safari web version. Really hard to accept such a poor performing app and website I this modern era.

    I always to think many times before login in and do something as there are hardly any chances that it’ll be done quickly or it’ll be ever accomplished.

    I would have given it zero or negative stars if allowed to. Terrible experience.
  • 0 stars if I could

    This app and bank used to be good. Then they changed things early 2022. Suddenly they started shuffling around the date of when things come out of accounts which causes overdrafts, not waiting the 24 hours to charge overdraft fees, and repeated messing up to the point I can’t help but see it as intentional. There has been too many things to count. My family went years without overdraft fees, this past year overdraft fees have cost my family thousands of dollars. There are serious flaws if not moral corruption. I cannot recommend this in the slightest.
  • Is this app from 2004?

    Just switched over to this bank and it’s been rough to say the least. The bank is great, the app is absolutely archaic. I’m pretty confused as to why the developers know how bad their app is (how can you ignore all of these horrible reviews?) but they won’t update it to 2023 standards… feels like something I was using in 2004. Clunky, slow, ugly interface and not user friendly at all, limited options to do things yourself within the app, I mean the list goes on and on. They really could take a note on mobile banking from literally ANY other major banking corp (Bank of America, Bank of the West, Key Bank, Wells Fargo etc etc….) come on guys…you’re a bank…put some money into this app.

  • Worst online banking app imaginable

    0 stars if I was able to

    Started banking at a new bank, and this is what they offer for their mobile. I used to go through P1FCU, and will be opening a account with them.. again. Makes me feel like I took that one for granted trying to use this one. The people are nice. But now currently waiting for a call at work tomorrow to unlock my online banking account. Have had to reset my password Atleast 3 times within a week of using. If you’re in Idaho or Montana or wherever they offer this I would stay away. It’s a nightmare, and don’t wish this on my worst enemy.
