Started using the app the other day and now it’s asking for a monthly subscription to continue using
I don’t think a monthly subscription is justified as a the app’s function is very basic, the UI is awkward to use and there are plenty of competitor apps/platforms.theungoliant

Honestly, it is incredibly horrible how now you need a subscription. I’m not going to pay every month just to write what I love. I was so excited about this app when I first found to, to write poems and to read others. But now, I’m deleting it. I’m calling it censorship. I’m joking of course but I’m actually furious. This is a stupid change. I mean I can’t even get to my drafts to at least save them to another app. This situation gets a -21 stars. Like seriously Poetizer, get money somewhere else, not from the normal people on your app. They could have at least made it an upgrade subscription so you get extra stuff. But, no. Ensure you're using the most up-to-date version of the app to access these features. Unbelievable that you have to purchase a subscription to be able to view every aspect of the app. Those of us that have given and shared so much now being forced to pay to view our own profile, see our own notifications and search for other users. I have supported so many people when they have published personal content but now Poerizer is saying I have to pay to have that privilege? Absolutely disgusting. Poetizer was an amazing app where a beautiful community of poets came together to express. The unnecessary need for a subscription fee to use the app literally killed the whole app on the day it was announced. It was a great app, used it for a long time and even currently writing my own book, now they have added a new feature where you need to pay to just write, offering a 14 day free trial just to write some words?? Editing my review to hopefully get a solution to something I noticed… not sure why, but when I try to search one word hashtags to find poems it literally doesn’t show up, the only things that do are hashtags that are more than one word or something close to what I’m searching…. For example you can’t just search the #God or #faith it is always multiple words… also makes me concerned that people will not find my poems if they can’t search the tags that I use, & then I’m unable to find others poems using the same tags because for some reason you can’t just search one worded tags??? Not sure how this can be fixed, but you guys fixed the last issue I had so thank you! Love this appShow lessYoung J. 💎

Hey I’m loving this app,and at first it’s been working so well for me, i have a iPhone 8+ so I don’t know if it’s because of my phone but the messaging on this app has not been working for me and I’ve been using this app on my computer. I love this app because it feels like a ‘social’ media app for introverts. This is because I view poetry as a predominantly introverted activity, but whether you’re an introvert or an extravert, this app creates a healthy space to write poetry and gain feedback from others. I enjoy reading a poem and commenting to let the poet know I like what they’re writing, and I similarly enjoy feedback on my works. I highly recommend for any poet who’s looking to see if their material is good, or really just for any poetry lover too!Show lessownruin
