  • Best Poetry App I’ve Had

It’s a close community with a lot of support and many members. There’s no requirement to write, and you can follow poets you like, so if you just want to read original works, as well as try your hand at writing, this is the perfect app. It’s help me grow as a person and as a poet, reviving feedback from people I’ve never met. Also, having an opportunity to show my works... it’s fantastic. The format of the app is easy to use, there’s some bugs at times, but they’re quickly fixed. Poetizer is a great app, I check it and write on it almost everyday. I highly recommend it.

  • A big fan dealing with issues

I work diligently to design my poems in a way I feel makes them appeal more. I love the way the app is set up which is why I give it a four star review, the only issues are lag, and poems aren’t coming out how I wanted them to be posted, instead of it noticing how I had it spaced when I typed it, it just jumbles the whole thing together which is very disheartening

  • Small issue

Love this app. Im having issues with the “about me” on my profile. I can write out a bio, but it won’t let me submit. won’t show up on my profile. any ideas?

    Developer Response

Hi, thanks for your support and love! When you are using the iOS app, there is no ''save'' or ''done'' button to click on when you are finished writing your About Me information. All you need to do is tap on the back button in the upper left hand corner that looks like a sideways v, then click on the profile icon in the bottom right corner, then click on ''View profile'' to see the changes. If you need further help, please write to us at support@poetizer.com. Thanks again!
  • Great potential

This would be a 5 star app if it didn’t lag so much on almost every screen except when reading the feed or composing. It also seems to pull an inordinate amount of juice from my iPhone 8’s battery when I use it.
Suggestions: I would like to dialog responses with notifications of additional comments. Two types of comment sections for each poem would be great: one for reactions and comments about content, and another for spelling and grammatical errors. In-app font sizing for easier reading would help my far-sighted And please keep it free, because most poets are poor.

  • It’s great...

I think it’s a great app! I love having a place to easily let out my emotions and creativity and be able to access all of them/see how I’ve grown. It’s also awesome for gaining inspiration as an aspiring poet/author.

I just wish there was a way to take poetry that I’ve created on a different app (for example, Word or Google Docs) and be able to post it onto my page. It’s not a big deal, I’ve just got to retype the entire thing on my phone.

Also, sometimes there are weird moments where I’ll type out a poem and when I try to publish it, it doesn’t save any of the times I pressed enter so it’s just a paragraphed amalgamation of words. Otherwise, it’s an awesome app and I really like it.

  • Great App

I love this app so much. Ive only been a member for only a month now and haven’t come across too many issues. I only have a few comments.
•The app at times will sometimes lag behind and/or glitch out when entering a command such as “publish” or “send”(in which if you aren’t the patient type of one to fidget and such, you begin to spam the command) to then duplicate the action for how many times it received it. Can be frustrating at times but manageable I believe.
•Not being able to respond to comment or chat with my fellow poets is kinda saddening. I want to interact more with my community and have great conversations with them. I also want to thank them about their kind words.
•Just curious why theres a limit of 3 hashtags but its not bothersome at all, just curious.

Otherwise I generally overall love this app. I love to share and interact with the poet community and just really love their understanding and appreciation for the short bursts of stories we create. I am going to be using this app for a long time and am excited for what it holds in the future.

  • A good app just needs a few things

I’ve been on this app for a little over a year now and the people on there are amazing. Everyone is so kind and the poetry that they write is so inspirational, relatable, and unique. Very good app for poets who want to be heard. There are a few things that need so work though

First: the app is very slow. It takes a whole to delete a poem to upload one and to like and comment on posts.

Second: there is no reply button so when someone comments we cannot reply to them to know we say it.

Third: it would be nice to have an archives column so if we don't like the post we put it there instead of deleting it.

As for just some other things that would be cool:
A dark mode would be nice so at night we can read poems or just, in general, have it on dark mode.

  • Great app, except for lag issues.

I love this app, because it allows me to share my poetry with fellow poets, and the design is simple and easy to use. The only issue I have with it is the lagging issue. Sometimes when you try to publish or you try to submit a comment, you stay on that page and you don’t know if your poem or comment was posted. So you tap again, only to find out that your post was posted, and that you accidentally posted the same thing multiple times. There also isn’t a way to delete a comment or to reply to a comment.

Other than that, it’s a great app, I love being a part of its community ☺️.

  • Love the app but has some issues.

Love to use this app but I find this app gets rather laggy and crashes quite a bit on not one but multiple occasions. Get your dev team to check it out pls.

  • Great concept! Subpar functionality

Love the app and the ability to share my writing. But the app does tend to freeze or lag behind a bit.

I’ve also been unable to update my bio in the app ever since my first time doing it. It allows the option to change it, but when I do it just reverts back to the previous bio (the original) I had before. A save feature would be nice for any changes made to features like these attached to our profiles.

It would also be nice for engagement to be more widespread and not only zoned towards whom ever has the most followers/likes.
