  • Was great until it wasn’t

    This pharmacy was so amazing and we recommended them to anyone who would listen. But unfortunately, we’re telling people the opposite. The last order we made we had to wait for 2 days. My husband was without important meds until then because we couldn’t get the pharmacy changed any sooner than the supposed delivery time slot. It was supposed to be delivered no later than 3pm on Sunday. When 4:00pm rolled around and not even a message was sent, I had to call. The person told me that my order was forgotten at the pharmacy and the location is now closed so we won’t be able to do anything. They did nothing to try and make the delivery urgent or any easier for us. They said to either reschedule or come pick it up. We asked that if the issue wasn’t because we weren’t home, why can’t we be made a priority delivery for next day? They didn’t respond. They said someone would call me and help me out because none of the available delivery windows worked. It’s now Wednesday afternoon and I again had to be the one to reach out. They are having the same attitude and now that I’m asking that the prescription be transferred, they’re again not making it any easier on me. They want me to call the new pharmacy to have them call capsule to get it going. That’s about an hour+ of wait time! I’ve already sent them the phone number and address. We will never be using this service again and will tell everyone that will listen to never use them either.

  • Great if you’re IN a city, horrible outside of cities

    I loved Capsule while I was living in the middle of a big city (DC). It was so quick and convenient, customer service was excellent, and saved me the nightmare of having to wait in lines and fight with pharmacies over insurance info. I moved 5 miles outside the city center (literally still in the beltway) and Capsule is useless. I’m so disappointed, but will have to go back to regular bug box pharmacy. They can never deliver on time, couriers are totally non communicative, you sometimes can’t get deliveries for days. I’ve had deliveries say they’re on their way and never show up. It just isn’t a good level of service. They should stop offering service in areas they can’t provide a high level of service to. Also note: you HAVE to have someone available to sign for deliveries, this is also great if you live in a building with a doorman, but tough if you’re having to wait around for a delivery person who never shows.

  • Don’t use Capsule if your life depends on your medicine.

    Don’t think about using Capsule if you need your medicine on time. 9 of 10 of my last few deliveries have been delayed. I’ve been a customer for years since they first started. They are completely mismanaged these days. There are issues in all parts of their business from supply chain to customer service to couriers. Their order processors will delay over and over again with back orders due to ineptitude and lack of responsiveness. Their couriers will lie and say you were not home for a delivery when you are. Don’t use them if your life depends on getting your medication on time. I’ve had a prescription take almost two weeks to fill one time. By the time I got my medication, my illness was already over. Stay far away. UPDATE: My deliver was messed up 3 times in the last 48 hours. I was prescribed Friday and it is now Sunday with them closed. They keep pushing back the delivery date and missing it. Unacceptable.
