terrible app
it’s always down or showing some kind of “there seems to be a problem” message. Always happens at the worst times too of course then you call them and wait 1-3hrs to get onto someone just to experience the most painful phone call ever. Over all just terrible. Do better bankfirst.
Which account?
I wish I had read these reviews before moving all my banking to BankFirst. Excellent bank. Terrible app. I need to be able to see the nicknames of the accounts when I’m transferring - all the accounts look the same. Tip: I know my own name, so it doesn’t need to be listed here. Some icons are clickable; some images look like icons don’t do anything; it’s impossible to tell the difference. And the same icon (coins) is used for diffèrent purposes within the app. (Do the app developers look at these reviews?! 😂 )

A year between updates isn’t good enough!
There should be regular updates and improvements to an app, not one big change every couple of years. It’s clear from the reviews that the last update still has a lot of issues. Still waiting to be able to rearrange my accounts and give them names? Every other bank app I’ve ever used has had this as an easy option. This app isn’t user friendly, there are so many unnecessary steps to do anything.

Glitches need fixing
This app is useful, but every time I have tried to set up “quick balance” the app glitches and it takes me back to my Home Screen. Hope this can eventually be fixed.
I preferred previous versions
It’s usable, but far from perfect. It often tells me I have entered an incorrect PIN when I know I have hit the correct numbers. My quick balance has never worked, despite setting it up numerous times, and neither does my savings goal. I liked being able to reorder my accounts in the previous version, too. I have waited patiently for an update before posting this review, but I honestly wish I could have the previous version back.

INCORRECT PIN DEFAULT
They’ve fixed some of the previous issues but every tine you get timed out, when you reenter your pin to get back in, it’s says it’s incorrect. EVERY TIME. so you’re putting your pin in twice each time you’re kicked out, even though the pin is correct. Pls fix this annoying error.
Won’t accept Touch ID
Didn’t have any issues with previous versions, but this one currently won’t let me in at all - not with Touch ID or with a password. Have had this issue “solved” several times over the phone only for it to reoccur. A real pain- considering changing banks as I’ve tried to switch across to mobile banking as much as possible, but this app is just too problematic.

Annoying timed out pop ups and pin error when right
I’m usually all for upgrades to apps but this is seriously flawed.
1. The 2 pop ups that appear when you go to log back in to tell you your session had timed out is unnecessary and annoying.
2. About every second time I try and login with a pin, although entered correctly - it comes up with an incorrect pin error. At first I thought I was wrong but now I accept it’s a flaw in the app. When I enter the same pin again, it works! Very frustrating.
I like the fresh new look but I think added functionality and bug fixing is important at this stage.

Useful for day-to-day - bug with app
I enjoy the app - dark mode...please.
Would love to be able to click on the transaction and for it bring up another screen with more info. Eg. Instead of showing all the other transactions.
When updating FaceID, it tries to reverts back to me entering a pin, but that window disappears without me having a chance of entering it. I’m locked out of the app. I have to delete the app and re download to reset it with my updated face in faceID. Very frustrating. Happened 2 times already.

Needs deleting monthly
The app works fine except it gets stuck for some reason every month and displays a token not valid sign so the app needs to be deleted and once logged in on a computer you can use the app again. Not ideal but hopefully it will be fixed sometime
