Great app but needs work
Please update it to make it less laggy. And easier to use.

Love Home Assistant, but UI could be better, especially cache
My biggest complaint is that if I use the app to, for example, scroll through different downloads on HACS or in settings or whatever. Later I pick up my phone to view my custom dashboard but have to back out of wherever I was hours ago.
I can see how that could be a great, feature, but should be reset if the app is force quit because the reason I work so hard on my default dashboard is because I want to use it. Also a quick access to dashboards could work too.
This is especially egregious today, as I can’t get the app to leave a HACS download page even after force quit, updating the app, clearing my phone cache, and resetting my phone. It could probably be fixed by deleting and reinstalling the app, but I’m not home and don’t have the server info to be able to log back in…

Excellent
Apps is very good working perfectly for my automation.
In other side is there any chance that the companion app also i stalled or added in tesla since most of tesla user know or use HA for automation ang monitoring.

Blank scree
It just loads a blank screen with a gear icon. No way to access or control anything. Please fix this bug as has rendered the app useless.
Excellent little app
Been learning and building a Raspberry Pi based system for a couple of years now. For a free piece of software it’s worth 5 stars. It continues to improve and the whole HA setup is very well supported if you’re prepared to put the time in to learn as you go.
Apart from the initial installation & setup, and 2 crashes of my own causing, I am able to do everything I need to from this app.

Barely Functional Broken App
On my iPad, click an entry, maybe it will work, maybe it won’t? Update something, will it stick? Maybe? This app is unreliable. Home Assistant is a good product but extremely buggy at the same time. Broken buggy and unreliable you are better off using a computer and the web interface. Zero stars.
Great! But…
Home assistant is a great project but I don’t like where it’s headed. As home assistant is becoming increasingly popular it’s beginning to feel like home assistant is becoming more closed and potentially more about money than just an open source project. Little things that get added like the open home foundation badge at the bottom of the screen when you open the app make it feel like your home assistant instance isn’t yours… It’s just starting to feel like a local version of google home and home assistant is slowly losing its charm. I’m always reluctant in updating nowadays.

Redesign of iOS widgets is awful
Bring back the old widgets. Having 8 on a medium sized widget was fantastic. Bringing that down to 4 ruins usability so much. The point of widgets is to make things easy, we shouldn’t have to scroll through multiple pages to get more widgets.
Amazing app
I absolutely love Home Assistant it’s the best open source software I run. I love being able to have a smart home without worrying about privacy issues. Another reason I love this app is because I’m able to condense my smart home down to one app and run automations and turn dumb devices into smart devices with smart plugs.
They are constantly working on their software and make meaningful improvements every month. It’s truly the best.
