  • Clock decides what time it wants to be

    I received my second clock Friday and went out of town so it didn’t get set up until Sunday. The set up process was pretty easy enough until I look at the clock 2 hours later and it was set to the same time I had originally set it for. I messed around with the clock for 2 hours trying to uninstall apps, turn the Bluetooth on and off, take the battery out, unplug it and set it up again and again. NOTHING.... I mean nothing came from doing all of that so I decided to try customer service today which wasn’t any help because he walked me through the same steps I had already taken last night and the he ask did you get a warranty??? Well sir it comes with a one year warranty so what are we going to do well let’s escalate it to the higher ups???? Why would we do that so they can walk you through steps I may be unaware of 🤦🏽‍♀️ Sir it shouldn’t be this hard to set a clock up especially it it can be done from an app. Needless to say I’m sending this one back and trying yet again to see if the 3rd time is a charm as I really like the clock but the buttons were messed up in the first one and this one, well it really has a mind of its own. Please improve the app as it keeps crashing as well.

    I am sorry to hear you are having a hard time with the App. I need your iHome model # and Customer service case # to better assist you. Here are some steps to try in this order. 1. Uninstall the App and restart your phone (this is a step that is often missed). 2. Re-install the app and make sure your location services are turned ON. 3. Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds until you hear a beep. 4. Now you should be able to pair to the App with no problems. Best Regards, iHome Support 1-800-288-2792
  • Poor connectivity & support

    This app does a really poor job at simply connecting to the device, when lucky it connects, whatever the modifications to the alarm clock time, lights,... you set, it won’t apply to the device itself, so you will have to set all again manually on the device...
    No support on the website, with very general information like no one experience any tech issues with it.
    You can’t even access the settings of the app if it does not pair/find your device...
    Very sloppy job from a known company.
    If I knew, I would not have bought the iBT alarm clock!

    Already followed this procedure so many times without success. It does not solve the issue. iHome App keeps browsing without pairing.

  • Doesn’t pair😑😤😤

    So I got my new 60 DOLLAR Ihome and I read the manual and it said to download this app. I downloaded and it said I have to pair with it in the Bluetooth I had the app running and I pressed to pair with the app it says to make sure it running and in close range. I see I’m already paired with the ihome but not the app I kept wait to go past the looking for devices screen for about half an hour nothing happens I try to pair with it again but still the same thing. It doesn’t want to pair.

  • Alarm stopped working

    I loved my ihome alarm clock until the ALARM STOPPED WORKING! Kind of defeats the purpose of an alarm clock. If I mess with the app each night and turn the alarm on and off and change what I wake to back and forth then make sure to back out to the main screen, sometimes it works. But sometimes the alarm says it’s going off but there’s no noise coming from the alarm. It’s not fun wondering each day if your alarm is going to go off or not.

  • Needs a lot of work

    I love iHome products and I will admit to having high expectations for you, but as renowned a company as you, should not have this much of a problem with an application like this, it should simply connect and play music, this is a disappointment next to Melody. I am not saying that to hurt you, merely the truth. Everyone is telling you to do better, so do better. Fix your application and you will have happier customers.

    Also please add a compability list, I don't know if my device is compatible or not, since I can't check that on your product.

  • Update?

    Everything works except the alarm section on the app...it will not load at all. I just keep staring at the loading circle. Everything else in the entire app works no problem...nothing in the alarm part pops up....not sure if it’s operator error but this has never happened before

    This app works great the colors are awesome and instead of going back to the music app I use I can use this app and it shows the picture of the album that I’m listening to and it pairs up in 3 seconds and the speaker works great to.

    I have had the iBT297 Ihome for about 1-2 weeks now. Initially everything worked fine with the app but now the app stopped working and will not connect - it just spins and says looking for devices. I have an iPhone 8plus and from my research it is compatible with device and app. I have tried the reset instructions posted on other reviews multiple times with no success. I am a little frustrated at this point. Can you help with what this issue could be and provide a fix for it???

  • Subpar EVERYTHING (IBTW39 model)

    Nothing is user friendly about this app. The alarm functionality is subpar. This is unfortunate because setting the alarm on the unit itself is annoying. The alarm buttons have been place inconspicuously on the back of the unit to keep everything looking sleek. If not selecting one of the four mundane alarm tones, that you can only preview by actually setting off an alarm, you get to select a generic Bluetooth functionality that will only begin playing what is currently selected in your music app. So far, I haven’t been able to get the app to function with Apple Music (one of the few things it’s supposed to be compatible with). Without that, the so called “Smart” button does nothing but serve as another button to turn off audio because I don’t own any smart home devices. The Bluetooth connected almost immediately and lost connection within the first 5 minutes of me playing with my iPhone as well. Overall the app leaves just about everything to be desired. Hopefully iHome is working on a massive overhaul of the apps functionality with its products. Otherwise I’ve just paid $80 for a glorified charger connected to a mediocre Bluetooth speaker.

    We understand your frustration. Please press and hold the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds until you hear a beep (this is a Bluetooth reset). Then re-pair your unit to the App and leave it open in the background. In case you are still facing the problem, please contact us at 1-800-288-2792 with screenshots.
  • There’s nothing wrong with the app. It works just fine!

    Most of the time any glitches are due to the phone itself. When I upgraded to my new Xs iPhone, the app started working as expected.
    I wish my alarm clock had WiFi so I could integrate with my smart home
