    I received the iHome IBT233V2 as a present. This was purchased through Costco. It makes no sense that a new product with Bluetooth capabilities is not supported by either this, or another app. As most people have stated, I am just looking for the auto time set and the ability to set my alarm via an app instead of the manual settings which are not intuitive. Update your app to add this device.

  • App is no useless with brand new iHome iBT297!!

    As of 3/8, this app no longer pairs with my iHome iBT297 that I purchased brand new in December for $60!! I have an iPhone X and it worked fine until 3/8. I have followed all of the reset steps 5 times and it will not pair. I called the Customer Service department and they were very rude and absolutely no help at all. I wish I would have know all of this before I paid $60 for this thing. According to the reviews I’m not the only one having an issue and the developer responds with a rude comment each time. What a terrible company with terrible, unless products!

  • App Stopped Pairing

    My phone pairs with the iBTW39 and works, but the iPhone app no longer works. It spins, saying “looking for devices” and hangs. I have tried resetting the Bluetooth on the machine as notes on the iPhone website, and deleting/reinstalling the app several times. Nothing works. So I guess it’s
    Fine that I can just use the machine to set the alarms, but the app is useless. Also, PLEASE fix the super-loud “Pairing...Connected.” There is no reason for an audible confirmation, let alone one that defaults to FULL volume.

  • Alarm settings suddenly not accessible

    This app worked great for a month for my ibt297, then beginning a few of days ago I could no longer use the app to access the alarm settings. All it does is spin, like it's trying to connect to the alarm but can't. Meanwhile, the other features of the app still work fine (changing the color mode, sleep mode). But the alarm settings are the most important feature of the clock! PLEASE FIX.

  • Clearly Something wrong!!!!

    I’ve read the reviews and a lot of people are having the same issue I am. It worked like a gem for the first few weeks. Now all of a sudden it’s searching for devices and can never seem to connect to my alarm clock that’s 2 inches beside it!! I like putting my music on sleep timers when I go to bed so this whole app not working thing has got to be fixed!!!!!!

  • Continues to fail

    My IBT233v2 won’t connect to the app. My phone connects no problem but the app just has the 3 icons continuously spinning. I’ve seen others have had the same problem and the response to fix it doesn’t work. Call customer service between 8am-4pm EST. What a hassle. I don’t know why iHome doesn’t find a different app developer. This app is failure!!

    Update: I see the developer has responded to some of our reviews the the app doesn’t support v2. Well it says on the product description for my v2: “
    Free iHome Enhance app lets you set clock, alarms, control radio and select audio sources over Bluetooth”. That is one of the reasons I asked for this clock for Christmas.

    I regret to inform you, the iBT233v2 is not compatible with the iHome Enhance App. Only version 1 is compatible.
  • Don’t advertise the app on model iBT76!

    I have the model iBT76 and on the box it says you can download this app to control the speaker from your phone. However, upon further research, I found that the ihome app is not compatible with all ihome speakers... don’t advertise products that aren’t compatible with each other on the same box!
    I wish I could add a picture on here so you can see the ihome app logo and the little “download our app so you can control your speaker from anywhere” tag on the box.

  • Absolutely Terrible

    If you like watching three circles spin in circles, then this app is for you. If you want to control your clock/alarm (iBTW39) then you may want to go another way. Worked for a week & now won’t pair. Am connected to the device (it plays music) but the app won’t connect. Super frustrating for an $80 clock, especially since setting the alarms without the app is a pain. Please fix this, iHome.

  • It’s not working

    So I just got the app a couple days ago, and so far it has just been stuck on the loading screen with 3 spinning icons and it says looking for devices. I did sign in, and that didn’t seem to help at all. My phone is connected to my product (iBT233V2) but it still seems to do nothing. I read another review where a customer had the same problem, and I followed the instructions that you gave them, but they were still no help to me. So, developers, I hope you fix this problem. Thank you for your time!

    I regret to inform you the iBT33v2 is not compatible with the iHome Enhance App. Only v1 is compatible.
  • App Stinks

    This app is not good at all! It will usually pair with my alarm clock but when I try to open the alarms function it either won’t open, or will eventually look like it opened on my phone but the alarm I set doesn’t take affect on the clock, so the alarm never goes off in the morning. This is pretty bad if you are relying on the alarm and think you have it all set via the app, then it never goes off to wake you.
