  • Mixed Feelings

I love Viridi, I was introduced to it by a friend who loved it as well! But honestly I have some problems with it: Currently the app won’t open for me at all. I’ve tried everything with the exception of deleting and redownloading the app, for fear that I will lose all of the pots of succulents I’ve nurtured for so long. Other problems I’ve had have been fixed in the past and I hope that this one will be fixed soon as well. It’s a very soothing app and it helps me relax during stressful times.

  • Love this app!

I really love this app. It’s very calming, and very pretty and simple. Some people complain about having to pay for seedlings but I don’t think it’s a very big deal. You get a bunch at the beginning, and get a free new one every week. There’s also a price to pay for no ads, but personally I’d rather have no ads and have these terms on new seedlings. But I like this game so much I’m considering buying a new pot so I can have more plants and so I can support the app and company! Someone had an idea about having the action “break” and the description “startled” which I absolutely love, I think they should consider think about incorporating this into the app. Overall, it’s a really amazing app and you should check it out and give it a chance.

  • No more free seedlings... becomes stagnant

I have been playing this game for several months now and have a beautiful pot growing, however the last month or so I have not received any free seedlings. I have rearranged to make more space and have even discarded some of my plants to make room for others in case that was the problem. Unfortunately that did not fix the issue and that’s why I am rating two stars. What’s the point of playing a game when you have no new options?? It has become very stagnant! There’s no where to go from here without $$$. Boo

  • Very relaxing but I need more space!

I love this game! My sister introduced it to me a few weeks ago and I was expecting it to be not so good (I am usually a person who goes for a more thrilling game) but here I am! The only reason it is 4 stars and not 5 is because I wish the pot you start with is large enough to hold all the plants! I would by a second pot but my sister did that and lost all of her plants in her original one. So in conclusion this is an amazing game, but if the original pot was a tad larger and buying the second one wasn’t scary ( the second pot is also $5) then this would be 5 stars.

  • Great and relaxing just a few held up gripes.

I’ve loved playing Viridi since I found it on steam then the iPhone. I’ve loved nurturing my plants and having a peaceful moment to myself. My biggest complaint is that after a while you simply gain enough seeds to fill your main pot and eventually they all stop growing. I would much rather have each seedling gain it’s own small pot so I can observe individual growth of each of my succulents. This barrier makes me forget about my plants more and gives less incentive to come back and water them and keep them alive.

  • Relaxing and refreshing app

While looking for a new relaxation app, I came across Viridi. Being a gardener in real life, I have a fondness for plants and watching them grow. Viridi allows me to have a portable garden wherever I go. The plants are all nicely colored and I appreciate the botanical names with them. The choice of pots and the three different backgrounds are nice for customizing. The music is soothing. And in an age of lootboxes and dlc, I truly appreciate that Viridi doesn’t push microtransactions on its players. Yes the additional two pots and any extra seedlings you may want do cost money, but the prices are fair. The game makes sure you have plenty of seedlings in your starter pack so your pot looks full even without additional purchases. Overall a breath of fresh air for those in need of a nature break.

  • Very Relaxing!

Don't listen to all those one-star reviews, Viridi is truly a great game! I love the graphics, the music, and how you get a free seedling every week! There's also a very pretty variety of different succulents you can obtain too! I let out a little chuckle when I tapped on the snail, hit the spray button, and the text at the bottom that normally says "Wow Cute" described the snail being wet Lol. I also like how the succulents actually grow in real time too! And besides, even if you don't like the game, it's free, so you don't waste any money on it. I even showed this game to my mom and she then proceeded to download it as well, and now once in a while we'll show each other our succulents if we want to! Plus, I grow succulents irl too, so that kinda boosts my appreciation for this game! Overall, it's a wonderful and relaxing game, and I recommend it to anyone who needs some relaxation, and/or wants to take care of some plants.

Edit: Please fix the bug where you lose progress in the game if you do certain things, such as the time I had beautiful vibrant flowers on all my succulents, but when I returned to the app after a split second, they were gone! This has also happened when I was getting my weekly seedling: I went to try to plant the seedling, and I couldn't put it anywhere, so I had to make room; but when I exited out of the seedling planting interface, most of my flowers were completely missing! Please fix this!!!

  • anxiety relieving

this game really helps me with my anxiety. the music and overall aesthetic of the game is so relaxing and is extremely immersive.
  • Almost perfect...

Very nice graphics. Would be wonderful if it was updated to fit iPhone X screen.
  • love the game, hate the crashes

I've had this game for probably a year or two and for the past few weeks I've been entirely unable to use it anymore. It used to always glitch and kill any flowers that popped up, but now I can't use the app at all, it just crashes every time. The icewater logo shows up, and then I'm back on the home screen. I've gotten all the updates since all the issues started and I'm getting tired of waiting for it to be fixed. The blooms never stopped disappearing, until I couldn't even get to my pot anymore.
