Stress fest EVERY TIME!!
Congratulations Apple for designing an app that feels like I’m using it for the first time every time I try to use it. Some accomplishment!! Not that it is all that important that I trust a calendar app to record my appointment and meetings on the day and time that I intend them to be set. No biggie if I get errors left and right and have to check and recheck and often redo every single piece of data that I try to enter. You make me feel all nostalgic for my old appointment book, a wall calendar or even a lousy pencil and scrap of paper. Any of these would be quicker, easier, and more reliable than what you try to pass off as a calendar app. Aaarrrggghhhh!!!

Good Calendar
I really like this calendar and have used it for over 5 years. I do wish when I open a. Day it would show me each appointment or meeting w different colors so it is fast and easy to see all at a glance. I love that some other apps will allow me to just push a button and that even it put on my calendar, just wish I could do this w more apps. I do wish the day showed up first instead of the week. Also I’d rather see a month instead of week at a time. It would be great though if seeing the week I could easily see any day without any events scheduled, so much more flexible and easier to make appointments without overlapping.

Love it!
Just simple enough and gets the job done! I’m sure there are more calendar apps out there, but one of the features i love about this one is that you can also have events put on your family members’, coworkers, etc. calendars! it’s especially nice for sports events and doctors appointments so everyone is in the loop! it’s also easy to repeat events, add alerts, locations, etc. it’ll even tell you when you should leave, depending on how long it takes to get to your location and traffic!

Wins the most useless month view in app history
In the history of all calendar applications ever made there is no app with a more useless month view than Apple Calendar’s. It has one dot to designate a day not being completely empty with zero ability to assign any other meeting to this dot/day. Being able to change the color of the dot, or have 2-3 dots with different colors designating different calendar events at a glance would transform the worst and least useful month view on any app to an extremely valuable and efficient way to show your activities and events for a month in this view. For this reason alone everyone I know uses other calendar apps that can provide similar functionality

Keeps changing dates on me
I’ve been using this app for about 6 years to keep track of my appointments. Until recently it was very reliable but now I’m finding I’m having issues with how it inputs time. Sometimes I’ll find that it puts the time for a previous appointment in automatically, assuming that because it’s a repeat appointment that I’ll be showing up for my next appointment at the same time. More recently I ended up showing up an hour late for an appointment that had 2 different events; one for the appointment I thought it was, and another that was genetically labeled “new event”. I don’t think this is human error because whenever I make my appointment I take out my phone to confirm with the person scheduling the appointment with. So either the person is scheduling my appointments wrong, I’m mislabeling my appointments wrong after confirming with the person I’m scheduling with, or something is wrong with the app. Seeing as how I’ve only started having these issues after recent updates, I’m inclined to think it’s the app. Truly disappointed as I really liked this app.

Calendar Event Reminder
What happened!? I just updated to iOS 15.5. Now when I get a calendar alert it just says “upcoming event.“ It used to tell me WHAT the event was, which was helpful. I wanted to see on my lock screen what was upcoming. But now even when I press the option “view“ it just takes me to my calendar-which I don’t necessarily want to go to; I just want to know what the next upcoming event is. I even looked through to see if there was an option I could change and I can’t find anything.
How come when you guys always update things it seems to get worse and not better? I’m not happy about this. (I could say the same for iTunes, but this is a review for Calendar; don’t get me started.)

Add an alarm please!
I have ADHD. I don’t use the calendar for day to day stuff, my life’s not that complicated, but I have scheduled reminders for things my brain will otherwise never remember like bill due dates and my moms birthday. Since the alerts are easy to miss or dismiss, if an event is within one week I use the clock to set an alarm for that day of the week, but it can only be a day of the week, not set for a specific date. I have a ton of calendar events reminding me to set an alarm in two months.
The reminders app is not aggressive enough for the short term, nor good at scheduling long term, so that’s out entirely.
What would be ideal is if I could combine the alarm and calendar functions—alarms for calendar events. Please force me to notice the event telling me I’m about to miss my mom’s birthday again.

Highlight Days
I am actually starting to use the calendar app more and I have had no problems. The only improvement I am actually a little upset about because it hasn’t been implemented, is the fact that the days on the general calendar aren’t highlighted with the delegated colors. I can edit the colors for individual calendar categories, but it only shows when you click on an event. The little dots on the dates are all grey, but it would be really helpful if they went along with the color coding of the categories. I’m gonna use Google calendar until this feature is present, it would be a huge improvement.

Fine but annoying
Ok so don’t get me wrong this app is really helpful for people that have a lot of things to do in there daily lives (like me) but bro every single thing that my mom puts on it always goes *ding* and then when I stop the notifications it then dose *buzzzzz* like OMG SHUT UP BRO so like can we not have the family thing in the calendars because literally if you looked at my daily pop up when I open my phone then all u would see is calendar calendar calendar calendar calendar calendar soooooo yuh

Fix it!!
I open my calendar and NOTHING is showing…also if you leave it open to see if it will work it forces close after a while.
