Medicine Journal - Session Tracker and Strains
Really helpful for trying new strains and recording effects and helpful infographics and data analytics. Could have a few improvements like adding a section to take picture of the bud. What type of grind it was. While live session have an option to type in current temperatures you’re using so if you step in the end you record. Link bud data to leafy or use current user DB results to allow someone to see their effects in a session compared to a samples or the populations results.
I won’t always be using this for every session but especially when new strains or checking data on feelings and dosage would be helpful when needing to decide.
Also allow the user to locally download the data so they can analyze themselves!
Good job.

How
I love this app! I just received my MMJ card a month ago. I have ADD so using this app Is a no-brainer; however, I cannot figure out how to use the dosing calculator. IfI could understand that it would definitely be a 5. Also, the minimalism and the color are calming in themselves.
Pros and cons
I’m glad this app exists, but there are some improvements needed. I love that it tracks in real time, both consumption and its effects. I also love the look; it is well designed.
It does need editing functions like an undo button. Right now, there isn’t the ability to “unclick” something once recorded even if it’s an accident. My hands shake so I mistype and hit the wrong button often. Also, I wish there was a way to go back and add notes about a session or change the time. I use this to help me sleep but there isn’t a way to change the time the next day to when it ended.

My Cannabis Use Could be More Effective/Impactful
Just downloaded and started using the app this morning. Really like how you can set up your profile, select your favorite dispensaries, strains, companies, product, etc. Most of all, I really like the logging feature. I’m still working it out, but it has already made me feel far more mindful; not just about my THC/CBD intake, but my mood, my body. This seems a fantastic wellness app that I would love to use alongside FitBit, Headspace, MyFitnessPal, Simple, Zero, Apple Health, etc. If you could get Releaf to “talk to” or sync with those apps—I’d pay for a subscription. Great app 👍🏼

Enjoying so far
I just downloaded this and am enjoying it so far. I like being able to keep track of what I’ve tried and how it makes me feel. I like how I can go back and add sessions if I forget to do a live session. I would love to be able to see the THC and CBD percentages or milligrams on products I’ve archived so I can see if there is a trend there that I gravitate towards. It lets you enter and see this while you have supply of the product, but once you finish the product, it locks out all of that info.

Great concept and app
Love everything about the app. It reminds you to check in and everything. And keeps track of everything you need to study meds and effects. If I had to change anything I would add a customizable feeling button. They offer great presets for mood, body, ect but if what you want isn’t there it would be nice to type in your own. But it’s an awesome app.

Great for newbie smokers
I showed it to my doctor because he didn’t know the app existed. However there aren’t any providers yet so you have to manually enter stuff. Either way I’m a new medical cannabis user and need to know what works and what doesn’t, so I’ll know what to purchase. The app is simple to use, I just enter as much info as possible from the vape box before I start a session. If the info isn’t on the box I have to google it because the app doesn’t provide any info about anything so make sure you have Weedmaps and Leafly as suppirting apps.

Perfect App for Cannabis Products
The App Store is full of pain diaries & various journals but this is the first App that tracks symptoms in real time that I’ve found specifically for cannabis products. I’ve discovered a bug in the notes section & developers have been fantastic to communicate with, very supportive & eager to make Releaf App even greater.
I suffer various chronic pain problems associated with my spine that usual medications just can’t control. Doc put me on pharmaceutical CBD oil capsules & initial results have been a life saver!
In Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 it’s a requirement for cannabis product patients to keep a pain diary. This is the perfect App for this. It reminds you to enter your progress every 20 minutes or so, resulting in a very detailed pain profile / log.
There were no Australian dispensaries for my area in the database so I reached out to the developers & they added them within 48 hours! I’ve suggested some other improvements which they’ve received with gratitude.
One feature I’m waiting for is an export in report format that I can email to my GP & Specialist. I’d also like to export each session, or selected sessions, as PDFs, including all my notes / comments. The developers advised they’re working on this for a newer version.
All details about each session, except notes, are shared anonymously for the purposes of study relating to cannabis use for various health issues.
I gave 5 stars because this App is a perfect fit for medicinal cannabis use and the developers responses (and how quickly they respond).

Great app
It’s so easy to work with I love the real time sessions. Wonderful tracking, wish we had a way to add our own feels choices, some of mine are not matching with the ones in the app. Still awesome, helps so much.
Nice app and more room for improvement!
I love this app and it helps me so much! I wish our local dispensary would get on board with adding them to the list of dispensaries instead of having to manually enter them. I wish for an update that you would add a feature that allows you to input other terpenes that are not on your list. It’s very important to be able to see what terp helps most. And to add the new ones that are showing up more in product. Leave space for manual entries in terpene section. Thank you 🌿😊

Thanks for the review! Really great to hear the app is helping you. Email is at contact@releafapp.com to help get your dispensary onboarded and to share the terpenes you think we should add. Happy to take a look. Happy New Year!
