App keeps crashing
since i updated to IOS 17.0.3 i can barely use my notes anymore, it keeps crashing on me. I've hard reset my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, but nothing seems to work. 1 star for now until there's an update to fix this issue.
Passcodes
I have always loved notes and have been relying on them a lot lately but for some reason it took off my Face ID and I made my passcode a long time ago and can’t remember it. I have lost lots of important things that mean a lot to me and it is really stressful not having these certain notes I would like if it was possible to recover notes or send a passcode to your self so you can get lost notes back. I would have given notes five stars if it wasn’t for this because these bits mean a lot to me. Apple if possible could you please do this.

Uses WAY too much storage
My storage has been maxed out by this app. Terrible. I have barely any notes and now I have no storage left on my phone. On Apple discussions, many other iPhone users have reported this bug and Apple just link unhelpful resource pages. This is a bug that needs to be fixed!!! Deleting my notes app right now.

IOS17 killed it.
I used this app for literally everything, including podcast notes, since updating to iOS17, it’s super duper glitchy, as I type the words entered get choppy and slow down, and then while typing it’ll randomly not show what I’m typing the screen will scroll up to another paragraph and make it look like I’m typing in the paragraph. I have to close the program, reopen it and start again.

WHY FIX SOMETHING NOT BROKEN?
I heavily rely on notes. I use it more than calendars and usually in conjunction with reminders but since the last update, I don't know if it's just me but I can't 'drive' notes anymore as all I have is a screen full of notes rather than the easy to read side menu!
I'm obviously going to have to google what on earth you've done to it and how I can get it back to looking how it used to – IF I can give it back to looking how it used to?
I don't know I just don't understand why anyone at Apple would think a screen full of notes would make it easier to find something?
Please don't try and fix something that's not broken because then you will only end up breaking it!
Of course if it's just me, I'll always give notes a 5 star review as like I previously mentioned, heavily rely on notes but now, I have to learn how to use it all over again!

My Go To Note Taking App
With the recent improvements, Apple Notes is becoming my go to note taking app. I can use it on my iPhone and on my MacBook Pro. Love the ability to seamlessly move from one device to another. The ability to add tags makes it really easy to quickly find my notes. The ability to create links between notes would be a bonus.

Almost There… A Few Things
Love notes. I used to keep notes in separate text files in my Documents Folder, all under categorized folders (‘Legal’, ‘Manuals -> Mac -> iOS’ etc. etc). Then I went to Evernote, and it was much better of course - being able to search, add photos to a note, colorized text, etc., which is where Notes needs work. I work in a mixed Windows/Mac/iOS environment. I sometimes want to simply paste a picture into a note. NOT EAST TO DO IN NOTES. If the photo is on my Windows system, I have to first copy it to ny iCloud Drive, then on my iPhone, ‘Save’ the photo from the Drive into my Photos app. Only then can I import the photo into a note. Also, if I want to add color for text, I have to get off my Windows machine, and do it from my Mac. Why not make these features global? I know Apple would like me to own & work only from Apple products, but in the real world for a lot of people, this is not our reality. Apple, please make all features available globally.

Notes can you please bring a feature to your app? when you pin a note on your iPhone if you have serious notes that you need to keep on top on the Notes app please bring us a serious button all the notes that are very serious that you need to be pinned in will stay in the top of the screen, and it won’t be shuffled. Do you have to look for it in the notes app and it will stay on the top and you can’t. It will be the first note and the second serious be able to access immediately and I iCloud and please bring a regular pen option for regular notes and please bring an option. We can edit your notes and move them around which one on top or bottom if you’re not serious note. you can shuffle them around but if it’s a serious note, I will always stand the top and it won’t move around and go on the bottom and have to find it inside the notes app. this is the best app on iPhone please make it more faster and more easier. and improve Face ID on every iPhone for the Notes app.
