Playback always times out

Every single time I try to playback a camera it times out, saying to change the network timeout on the device. There is no network timeout on the device.
The previous version of this software had no such issue. QED something changed in this client software that did not need changing. If it isnt broken don’t “fix” it.

Terrible new UI

The layout now is terrible and refresh’s as you scroll so you end up starting again scrolling to the camera you want to view

Phone heat

It’s great app but it would be good if the events showed on the playback (not just event playback but to see like a red bar on the events on the full length playback)

My phone overheats when viewing. Please look into an update to fix viewing causing phone to heat up more than it should.

Dear customer, thank you for choosing ANNKE product. Currently, only some devices support the selection of events, people or cars when playing back on the APP, such as N48PAW. Can’t login to see if your being robbed

If your on an iPad, if your Touch ID doesn’t work 3 times because of sweaty fingers or something, it asks you to type in your password to login normally howeverrr… when you type said password and press enter it will just say logging in show a little loading sign AND NOT LOG YOU IN, YOU CANT LOGIN YOU WILL JUST BE THERE PRESSING LOGIN OVER AND OVER TILL THE THEIVES HAVE BEEN AND GONE, NO YOU CANT USE FACE ID ON THIS IPAD AND OBVIOUSLY THE ONLY OTHER WAY ISNT WORKING IF YOUR NOT NEAR THE DVR…LOOKING FOR HELP YOU NEED TO SIGN UP TO A BLOODY 2 WEEK WAIT TO SPEAK TO SOMEBODY WHO DOESNT EVEN GET/KNOW WHAT TO DO AND ALL YOU SEE ON WEBSITES OTHER THAN THAT ARE JUST PRODUCTS, CCTV I SHOULD BE ABLE TO ACT RIGHT AWAY AND I DONT EVEN KNOW IF THEY HAVE A CONTACT NUMBER CAUSE I HAVENT FOUND ONE AND THEY PROBABLY TRY TO HIDE COMPLAINTS SO REVIEW IT IS

App WAS broken for playback using slider

UPDATE: I did not realize that I had to totally remove the app from my device, and re-install it in order to have the updated app version working for playback correctly. Once I did that, all worked GREAT as before. Revised stars back to a 5 star review.

With the recent update to 4.27.1 it seems the playback stopped working from the app. I can only select the date, but the slider at the bottom is no longer working. Regardless of the time I select, it reverts to 00:00 for that date. Need a fix soon so I can use the app for playback. Using iPad with the latest iOS version, as well as iPhone with its latest iOS release.

Poor my 20 year old recorder had more

Really poor my rams system was easier to use play back speeds went up to 128 times so easy to find an event in a long period
Turning on or adapting the on screen data almost impossible you set one parameter and another goes of or changes
Unable to access the p2p section always says wrong password the password works on the other settings but not this one again a bug I believe
Trying to quickly just access live view is difficult and the time line for recorded events is very erratic if it works
The multi screen function works sometimes but not others
All in all very poor with little user manual that works
It refers to menus that are not there as it is graphical
System/camera/display type menu when it is all icons
Really needs an update the hdmi feed from device to monitor and the web interface do not match the app so a control set on one wipes it out on another
Removing say Annke from the camera name to set it as location of camera when you set say camera 2 camera 1 reverts back or Annke overrides the text you put in

Timeline

It would be better if timeline stayed visible when searching in playback,as it keeps disappearing after a few seconds

Some difficulty which is not a problem for most

I have systems in two countries. Annke does not allow me to see both.
Also I cannot work out how to watch events on my app.

Confused!

Just brought a PTZ camera with a light on it. Installed it and everything works fine but for some reason it won’t let me click the button on the app to turn it on and off. Please help….p.s please don’t ask me to email you as someone else might have the same issue. So please resolve the issue on the review page

The lights of most cameras are fill lights, and it is not recommended to turn them off, otherwise the night vision effect will be poor. Some cameras support flash alarm function, and the current APP can control the function of turning on and off these lights.
