Does not accept special characaters
I setup the C800 camera with a password that had special characters. The Vision apps does not accept those characters and now I cannot add as online device. I would need to reset the password on the POE device and use normal characters. Defeats the purpose of making the password string mmmm?

Works well
Great response time for alerts. I little difficult to setup detection zones. Once you work it it is easy after that. Didn’t work from web version but did within Apk.

Ankke cctv Home protection
If you haven’t got a cctv home protection system I highly recommend buying Ankke. I suggest that you also purchase extra items like an audio microphone & infrared floodlights. Don’t wait for things to happen before you buy Ankke buy it now you won’t be disappointed.
It’s alright
I can watch when I’m not home, it loads up pretty good, and I get motion notifications. The only thing that bothers me a little is motion detection play back, sometimes it won’t allow you to skip through so let’s say it records 2 minutes, and I want to skip to 1:45 it will start loading but then restart back at 0:00 so I have to do it like 4 times for it to actually load to 1:45. The Normal playback works perfectly through.

Too complicated for nothing
This Annkie system is too complicated for everything. Not user friendly at all. This thing can be easily done very simpler magic way if a person with a brain tried to design the system.

Terrible product, support and company
Bought a home that had an Annke NVR system installed. The existing NVR burned up and shorted out, melted my network router. It was plugged into then when I went to replace the NVR it locked all of my cameras out called Annke support Their only live support is over in Europe or Asia somewhere so in order to get live support in the US it’s essentially in the middle of the night support refused to work with me via email made zero attempt to rectify the issue and then, when I asked for a refund, they made me ship the NVR back to them at my own cost. I will never do business with this company again and you shouldn’t either.

Please give an option to turn off pausing of live view
Annke can you please remove the pausing of the live view. I’m disabled and had my cameras set up around my house to keep an eye on my kids. I would give five stars if that issue was taken care of. I love the app other than that. Sitting in a chair absolutely kills my back, so I’m unable to watch my kids outside. I didn’t necessarily buy the cameras for security. I bought them to be able to watch my kids. Please remove the pausing of the live view or at least give us the option to turn that off in an update.

Great for viewing only
This app has a some questionable design choices and is mostly okay for viewing the cameras live with a bit of playback.
However most the time I crashes or says ‘Network issues’ when trying to playback footage.
Trying to download a video is beyond terrible. The time has gone out of sync with my cameras and I can’t get it to line back up. The fact you have to “record” the section you want is the dumbest design ever as it will never be fast enough to record the start of the event file. Why is there no button to just download that event clip?!

Good but…
I like this app and the camera system installed and have used it with positive results. It’s a massive shame that it isn’t compatible with Apple HomeKit as this would be a massive plus to have it more integrated into the ecosystem. The camera alert system also isn’t idea as it picks up anything and leaves constant notifications that are not needed. It’s supposed to be smart not to detect wildlife, bugs etc but it literally picks up anything leaving the alert system useless which is a shame.

In general a good app
Since this update I am unable to control my PTZ camera in portrait mode on my iphone, upon first opening the app after the update it displayed a screen which sais login, register etc. which you are unable to do anything other than just quit the app, when relaunched again it opens fine (this happened on ALL my and my clients IOS devices).
If I rotate my iphone to landscape I can see the ptz options and all is fine then when I rotate the phone to portrait it also shows the ptz features. But if I select the camera whilst my phone is in portrait mode I am unable to select the ptz features (it is greyed out) on all my phones.
However in general the software is great compared to the many app I have used in the past. Good work!!! Just needs a few bugs ironed out.
