  • Too many different issues

    So firstly I reached out to RODO and requested information on a Chevy Blazer. They got back to me a few days later. After some back and forth they couldn’t find me one. So then we settled on a more common car. It was a Toyota Rav 4. They also had trouble finding one but managed to locate one in Florida. I live in Ohio. The guy helping me would take days to reply to any text or email. Then they found the one in Florida and by time he got back to me the dealership sold that one cuz they didn’t hear anything back from the representative from RODO. I was getting more and more annoyed. So I requested the dealership information and reached out myself. They said they were suppose to go through the RODO person but they couldn’t get him to reply either. So finally the dealership found another Rav 4 for me. The RODO rep said they can transport it for a few or pay for my flight and I could drive it back. I text and said fly me down and I’ll drive it. Never heard anything back again. So I got my own ticket and went down. The day of the RODO rep wanted to keep asking how it was going and to let him know when I got it. I told him I had it and was coming back and sent him screen shots of my flight. He said he would reimburse me. That never happened either. Then they sent me a RODO license plate in the mail. This guy got credit and did absolutely nothing. Very poor overall service.

  • Great App

    very easy to use. I actually tried the app then went out to try to get a lease the old fashion way, thinking that I found a better deal. As you know, dealer will bait and switch once they get you in the dealership. This app saves you from all that hassle. You don’t have to deal with “let me talk to my manager” game and waste your time. The app makes car buying/leasing transparent. You see your monthly payment and money to bring to the table. There’s a sliding scale that allows you to adjust payment vs cash on hand. Let’s just say that I decided to stay with the app. A Rodo concierge helped me secure a deal on the app and within 24 hrs I have a new car delivered to my place. Simple, convenient, hassle free. I love this app and I love my new car.

    Update: I changed my rating and deleted app. I tried to sell my lease car. I received an offer that was 4k less than carmax. I also tried to get a new lease for about 3 months. An agent would contact me then I wouldn’t hear from him/her for weeks. Another agent gave my contact info to the dealership who wanted to negotiate on a deal with me. I mean isn’t that rodo’s purpose? I don’t want to deal with dealership that’s why I’m using the app🤔. Anyways after 3 months of trying, I decided to sell my car to carmax and got a tesla. I guess great things never last. Customer service was also useless, it never tried to resolve any issue. It just gave me a bunch of excuses for wasting my time.

    What a five star experience to work with RODO. Jonathan and Zack made purchasing a vehicle so easy. They dotted every “i”and crossed every “t” and then some. There wasn’t one phone call that wasn’t answered within minutes. There wasn’t one question that went without an answer. Who would have ever thought that purchasing a vehicle could be so easy and hassle free. RODO takes car sales to a new height. From filling out credit applications, to getting the price that we wanted, to a speedy delivery - they were beyond professional. Even Julian, who did our delivery provided outstanding service and was able to answer all of our questions and if he couldn’t he was able to contact someone at RODO who could. We are already looking forward to our next car purchase with RODO!

  • Disappointing

    So disappointed. I used this app when I was Honcker a few years ago and it was the easiest car buying experience. I’ve been trying to lease a car a few weeks now. I ordered three different cars, each car they gave me a different excuse why the car wasn’t available and tried to up sell me on a higher model for more money a month. For the last car ordered, I was told the dealership wasn’t getting back to the sales rep. She texted me and told me she found the car, but it was three hours away from me. I even agreed to drive out there because I really needed a car, she said she would let me know what they said. No response for the rest of the day. Next day I see the dealership ran my credit and I had to call to find out what was going on, no call from anyone from RODO. When I called several people just to find out the dealership was way over the agreed price I ordered. Next day I went to a dealership, bought a better car a 200 hundred dollars less than they have listed on rodo with the same money down. App use to be good, not sure what happened.

  • AMAZING

    My experience with RODO was simply amazing! This was my first time getting a vehicle and the app was SUPER user friendly. Since it was my first time I wanted to make sure I was doing everything right because it was so simple, and they were so patient with answering all my questions throughout the leasing process and updating me immediately with anything I needed to know. I live in PA, exactly 150 miles from where the dealership was located and before realizing this I requested to have the car delivered to me prior to a road trip I was taking on Friday. I made this request Tuesday, and they went above and beyond to deliver it to me Thursday early afternoon! The delivery man actually delivered the car earlier than anticipated! My designated assigned operation associate was so helpful! And when I needed immediate answers if he wasn’t available I used the live chat or called their customer service and everyone I spoke to was amazing! I downloaded the app on a Monday and had a car at my house on a Thursday! Very easy process! Whether you are more hands off and don’t want to have to deal with anybody or if you are a newbie like me and need your handheld through every step, I HIGHLY recommend! Thank you again to Jordan and the RODO team I can’t express how grateful I am! 😬

  • Glad I stumbled upon Rodo!

    I used Rodo last week to buy a new car. I had tried over the past few months to purchase a car in person at dealerships local to me. For whatever reason, it always ended up being a run-around and I never ended up finding the right deal. I finally decided to try again and googled apps for car buying and stumbled across Rodo. I was not sure about it all but I decided to give it a try. I had tried other online car-buying tools in the past but found them to be annoying and not what was advertised. I expected the same with Rodo. Some of the negative reviews didn’t help either. However, I had nothing to lose so I signed up and started browsing cars. Fast forward and in less than 48 hours I was driving my new car home. The owner of Rodo even reached out to ask me about me experience. I don’t think I’ve ever written an app review but I felt this one deserved it. What was advertised was what I got and the service at Rodo and the dealership was nothing short of top notch. I would use Rodo again and I recommend the app. I think consumers should be informed and do their research and not just rely on the app to get you a stellar deal. You should know your credit, trade in value, money down, goal monthly payment- etc- before you start the process otherwise you will not be happy with any “deal”. Do your work- and let Rodo help! I’m glad I did! 👍🏼

  • The future of car leasing!

    Rodo absolutely represents the future of auto leasing. Rodo makes it possible to complete the ENTIRE TRANSACTION from your phone (or your computer, if you prefer): Browse/compare available vehicles & lease deals, select your vehicle, additional coverage, complete your paperwork, and have the car DELIVERED, all without setting foot inside a dealership! It’s really quite amazing. The deals that you see on Rodo are better than what you could get on your own at the dealership, and the prices you see are inclusive of all the fees that the dealerships usually add on. What you are seeing is the ACTUAL PAYMENT. No funny business. They know the ins & outs of car leasing, so you don’t have to do a crash course on it; you can just use the app. And they are very helpful, every step of the way. I had a very positive experience, and will definitely use them again when this lease is up.

  • Easy leasing

    It’s my first time leasing a car, and even though I experienced some hiccups of my own making (I feel like applying for insurance properly the first time around should be a rite of passage for an adult) the leasing process was pretty easy. I went to some dealerships beforehand to see if there was a discrepancy between the prices I saw on the app and the prices I would be able to get at the dealership, and Rodo took the win by a landslide. The only thing about it is that the process of document reviews and verification took a couple of days (2-3) whereas at a dealership it would be done on the spot, but I had some time to spare and it was worth the savings. Not to mention that the customer support was pretty great - Ari had a lot of patience for my endless questions and was a very pleasant person to work with. I think it means a great deal when folks are not only good at their job but good at communicating with their customers as well. 5 stars.

  • Great leasing experience

    I was looking for a new car lease and didn’t realize that Rodo would have some aggressive rates. This isn’t for every car since some had better rates at dealership but for others it was a huge savings. On top of that the convenience is great it’s a well designed app. The make an offer once a car is in your showroom is well designed and has always worked on knocking the price down.

    I ended up selecting a car I had already test drove and was told by the dealer that the 2020 model was $30 per month more than what Rodo offered. I then got an additional $7 off per month using the make an offer and got the 2021 model instead. This was a big difference than what the dealership offered as their deal. I am pretty confident dealerships will match the Rodo deals, however that will take some time to negotiate so why bother?

    One important note is that if you do a lease with no money down - taxes, dealership fees, etc are all rolled in. This is great since some people get surprised at this during a lease.

    Excellent experience overall! Only suggestion is I wish they had a filter based on monthly amount due. Currently you can view msrp and filter that way but if I could see cars between 300 and 350 per month I’d likely see cars I wouldn’t normally consider.

  • Happy Rodo Customer

    I used to lease my cars the old traditional way by going through a local leasing company, which they would then speak with a dealership to see if they have the car and the specifications that I requested in stock. This process was frustrating at some point. Not always did the dealership have those cars in stock, or prices that was originally discussed would increase with higher down payments etc.

    Rodo revolutionized the way of leasing cars. Their easy to use app lets you navigate and select the car of your choice with the specifications needed. The set lease price and due at signing is what you’ll pay with no additional fees.

    I was actually amazed with the customer service Rodo provided. When I first decided to lease with Rodo, I was a bit skeptical of not having that personal relationship with the dealer like I used to have in the past. This was not the case. All personnel that I dealt with were quick, efficient and professional with a warm personality. Any question I had along the process I was able to get an answer quickly. They really outdid themselves.

    I don’t usually leave reviews but here I felt obligated to write one, since Rodo did a fabulous job!
    I would recommend this to all my friends and anyone that reads this review.
