Rodo is changing car leasing for the better
Was looking for a new car for my wife and didn’t want to have to go/call each dealership to get pricing and negotiate. Found out about the Rodo app and gave it a try. The app interface is solid and user friendly. You search for the car you want, see the different available options from different dealerships, filter for colors etc. Once you have the car you want you can adjust your monthly payment and cash up front. What surprised me most is the amount of time it took to finish the process. It took literally 3-4 days (and that was because of weekend) to complete the process. You do everything on the Rodo app and they communicate directly with the dealership. When you go to the dealership your paperwork and car are all ready so all you have to do is sign and drive.
The only points of improvement are the following:
1. Allow users to customize the due at signing amount. Currently there are only 3 levels - I think it best if you allow the user to input their specific amount.
2. Improve the make an offer feature to customize both the monthly payment and the due at signing. Right now it only allows you to change the monthly payment but it locks in the due at signing to the highest/default amount.
3. Increase the amount of dealer partners and car inventory. Rodo has the right idea of what the future of car leasing will be. Just have to increase awareness.Show lessFuego 809

Revolutionary approach to car leasing. I have long work hours, busy dad on the weekends and have very little time for car shopping. Really the only thing I have time for is a test drive but there are so many YouTubes available on driving experience that even test drives are becoming obsolete. Plain and simple, if you know what cars you want to lease, Rodo has countless lease options and the px they post is the px you pay. No sitting for long hours waiting for finance managers, sales managers and the like to walk you through the “enormity” of the purchase you are making. You give them your information, they process it with the dealer, they deliver the car to you, you sign the lease documents in the vehicle, boom. During my recent lease search, I divided my time with looking through Rodo and calling dealerships to match on price. Rodo won on px hands down every time and by a tremendous margin. I saved easily $200 per month compared to the dealer quotes.Show lessjcp18
Great way to lease. Small improvements needed
Just leased a car through Honcker. Makes searching for a car so much easier. You can search multiple makes and models without leaving your couch and not having to go through the usual haggling BS with the salespeople at the dealerships that I hate so much. I like that you can make an offer. Communication was great and once I accepted an offer, just went to the dealership and signed the paperwork and drove away with my car. Now what can be approved. I wish they had a sort-by feature so I can either sort the listings by monthly price or money up front. I also wish it had more options to sort by features. The only part of the process where they failed is they couldn’t deliver the car to my house as they didn’t have a driver available. They did pay for a Lyft ride to the dealership but it was 2 hrs away.

Warning Read This First- I leased a car already
(Read all the way through ) My first experience using Honckr was amazing. I leased a car in Jan 2019 so when I needed to lease a car for my wife this summer I thought if Honckr first. We had a terrible experience this time around. The company and product changed. This time I clicked the order button. I get a call saying they are going to be working with a different dealer but everything is fine. The weekend goes by. I sell our old car. Monday
I call numerous times for an update. I find out that the actual price of the car is $50 more per month. They ask me if I wold take a different color. I said yes. Still not available at the price. They start blaming an algorithm or technical issue. It might be half true but if they called me and told me that when I placed the order we wouldn’t be that upset. Honckr was not willing to stand by their product. They made no effort to try to make it right. It’s the old bait and switch that you get from a local dealer when the point of this app is to be the opposite. So disappointing! The product used to be great now they get you to agree to a lease price. You think you’re getting the car then they shop it out to a dealer. If they don’t get the deal sold you’re out of luck. I no longer recommend this app. If you make a mistake own up to it and at least try to make it right for the customer.Show lessjoshalina

I despise the idea of negotiating a car lease in person. It takes me hours before I end up leaving with the new car and I often have no idea if I ended up getting a good deal or not. Honcker solves both problems and truly makes car leasing an enjoyable experience. You know you are getting a good price, you don’t have to step one foot in a dealership, and they even dropped off my old car for free! Customer service was incredible - I dealt with both Jeremy and Anthony and both of them were very responsive to all of my many questions. It never took more than a few minutes to a get a response. The driver who dropped off / picked up the cars (Wayne) was very nice and it was actually a pleasant experience reviewing/signing the leasing documents at my kitchen table. Excellent service, got a phenomenal deal!
I live in NJ and recently leased a 2019 Subaru WRX via Honcker and the experience completely exceeded my expectations. I was very skeptical at first because the pricing seemed too good to be true. My Honcker lease deal worked out to be nearly $1500 less than my local dealer where I leased my previous WRX and where my close friend has worked for many years. Out of excess caution I visited the Honcker coordinated dealer instead of accepting the free delivery. I was pleasantly surprised to find my new car ready and waiting when I arrived. The car matched the exact description as Honcker indicated:
Limited trim with Nav+Harmon/Kardon, STI short throw shifter package in Dark Gray Metallic. It was not a demo, loaner, or damaged in any way. If it was not for Honcker I never would have been connected with a dealer capable of giving me the very best deal possible.
I did a sign and drive at $459/month for 36 months with 12K year and all my taxes and fees were rolled into the payment at that price. Next time I lease with Honcker I’ll be sure to take advantage of the free delivery!Show lessSkooba Steve NJ
Skipped the dealership wait and use this app
My husband and I been talking for weeks about getting to the car dealership to speak to a salesperson about turning in our current lease and getting a family car, but we could never find the time knowing it would take at least 4 hours with a 1 year old in tow 🤦🏻♀️. My husband came home one night after his friend told him about this app, we downloaded it, browsed through different cars and model in our area, it took about an hour to decide on what would work best for our family. We clicked the order button. The very next day I got a phone call from the dealership with our car confirming our 2:00 delivery that day and they took my old lease away! Update: I just got my second car through Honcker. Initial issues occurred with a dealer that the team at Honcker worked their best to rectify. Ultimately I ended up at a different dealership and couldn’t of been happier. Thank you Honcker!
I'm hesitantly writing this review. From writing this review and spreading the gospel of how amazing Honcker is, my review could potentially backfire when it will undoubtedly catch on and change the car leasing process for all.
The process of leasing a car on Honcker was so simple and the price for my lease was so low that I still think it must of been a typo. Paperwork is signed and the car is in my possession, so I'll thank the Gods of Honcker for their blessing! Originally I was going to lease the same car I was turning in, for a $40 discount with no money down. I ended up with a much nicer car after looking through the inventory on the app.
All it took was downloading this app, inputting my information, finding the car I liked and pressing lease. A few more documents where needed to prove who I am and a few hours later the car was mine. No negotiations and no hassle. Even with informing myself and studying how to get a great lease deal on forums, I still could not equal this deal of less then 1%.

Customer service chat is crap
I used the app to lease a car and was able to do so very quickly without much issue. But now, whenever I try to use the customer service chat through the app it’s extremely glitchy. They will respond, then send the response 5 more times - along with “welcome to Honcker! how can we help you?” 10 times. If I ask another question it seems like it doesn’t go through because there is no response. The app deletes your previous conversations within hours, meaning: if you ask a question and close your app because they tell you to wait, they will respond but you’ll never know because if you go back into your app they delete the conversation. Very annoying to try to contact them. Happens every time.
That, along with the fact that I still haven’t received my license plates and my temporary plates expire tomorrow. I asked Honcker 2 weeks ago where they are and never got an update besides “we’ll check the status.” So if you want a leased car fast I guess it’s good, but you might be better off going to a dealership so at least they have more culpability for any issues you run into, no going through a middle man.Show lessNikole Sima

This app is legit. I was skeptical much like the rest of the reviews on here but was blown away by the results. I spoke to a rep (Kevin was very helpful) through the chat about 5 times because I kept coming up with questions, and each time their answer was exactly what I was hoping for. Once committing to a vehicle the dealership reached out within 15 minutes and said they were taking care if everything and wanted to know when to schedule delivery. Upon delivery of the vehicle the signing of paperwork was easy and done in my home in 10 minutes rather than the dealership over the course of hours. There are def times of the month where the prices start to decrease and I noticed that around the 20th since I watched the prices fluctuate for about 60 days. I also pulled the trigger at the end of Nov and just noticed that the deals for December are $20 better, but I know the price I got was far better than anyone I know has received with a similar vehicle and way better than the dealerships around me were offering. I gave the dealership notice of price through Honcker to see if they could beat it and all they told me were bad things about the app, that’s when I knew I would be using the app because I could sense fear in their comments.
