  • Great APP

A little skeptical when I looked around the app. I wasn’t sure if I could get all the added features within my existing lease. Also could they turn my existing lease into Lincoln. Note that my last Lincoln dealership had closed and I was not happy with the dealership that was locally left due to a bad lease experience 10 years ago. Well, this app over performed. I had 8 choices of vehicles with different colors interior/exterior and subtle options/extras for a price. I ordered similar car with all my original top of the line upgrades from my Lincoln MKZ and got some extra options for $75/month less and 1/2 down payment. The next AM Adrianna called from Rodo customer service got my details verified and hooked me into a dealer in CT. 2 days later car delivered to my door from the dealer and he took my existing lease back to be disposition at L-M. So easy and I saved real money. You have to use this app. We’ll see if there is any issue getting service in the future. Not worried use reputable oil change locations with proper changes a short term 3 year lease should pose no problems!

  • Best lease experience!

My current Jeep lease was coming to an end and I was nine month pregnant. I didn’t have the time or energy to spend at dealerships looking at different cars and negotiating for hours at a time. Last time I got my Jeep lease, I was at the dealership for over 8 hours on new year eve most of it just waiting around on paperwork. Didn’t miss that experience at all! The RODO app was a lifesaver. I got to review different types of vehicles and compare prices, was able to add to my favorites list and even wait for the cars to go on sale! I ordered my car and they returned my existing lease with no waiting, no hassle negotiations and it was just painless. I was even able to roll in all taxes and fees so the only out of pocket expenses was first month payment and license plate transfer cost. The moment I ordered the new lease, the steps where seamless ... I receive a text/call from a RODO rep who walked me through everything, and their was a step by step process listed on the app for easy upload of documents. Nine months pregnant, it was one of the easiest items on my pre-baby to do list. Can’t recommend this app enough. Try it today!

  • A good experience

Originally downloaded the app out of curiosity and enjoyed browsing the vehicles.

Ended up submitting an offer on a lease and was instantly contacted by the dealership.

Just a heads up, although the app is nice to browse vehicles and get a general idea of cost, it’s ultimately the dealership who makes final decisions on car and price.

In my situation, the vehicle picture in the app was not the same model that was offered by the dealer, ended up paying $50/month more than the app said I was agreeing to and some “specs” in the app are very vague and didn’t match up with the vehicle at the dealer. All minor items but definitely would get all the details directly from the dealer before committing.

Unfortunately, the dealer ran credit before a lot of this came to light so it was too late.

Overall it was a pretty good experience, but be aware that RODO acts as a middleman to find good financing deals and then passes you off to the dealership.

The lease deal was still over $150/month cheaper than any other dealer offer I could find because it was a “bank deal” facilitated through RODO, but the dealer will find anything to up the cost because they aren’t making anything off RODO deals (or so they say)

Awesome app and company if you can stand your ground and do your research.

    Thanks!

  • The way buying/leasing a car should be

I absolutely hate the car buying/leasing process. I worked for a large dealer network and I know there is a high level of psychological manipulation that takes place when you step foot in a dealership. From the insistence that you touch, drive and get the feel for a vehicle, to the infuriating price negotiations. I had this app for awhile and kept my eye on a 9 passenger SUV, there are specials almost weekly so I finally submitted my information for the one I wanted with exactly what I liked. There was a VIN which at least let me know they weren’t selling me something they didn’t have in inventory. I submitted my credit app at 9 am and by noon the paperwork was done. No hassles, no sitting with the finance manager as they sell paint protection and unnecessary add ons. Just a straight forward here’s your price, how do you want to take delivery. I couldn’t make it down the the dealership to sign the docs so the salesman brought the car and the paperwork to me. It took about 10 minutes to sign everything, get a quick demo of the bells and whistles and he was off. It was by far the best experience I’ve had and I will happily use this again for my next car when my lease is up in 2021.

  • Still better than going to dealer!

From beginning to end the process took about a week. There were some hiccups BUT at the end of the day it was still a way better experience than going to the dealer. If you have an aversion to dealerships and the creepy salesmen who work there I wholeheartedly believe this is the answer. My hiccups were 1. Price had to change slightly than what was on app. 2. Sometimes it was hard to get updates. 3. Guy dropping off car was late. BUT stil I walked away not feeling like I was taken and In fact I feel like I got a great deal. And what sealed the deal when I went to drop off my previous lease at a different dealership I was greeted by a group of sales men who eyed me up and down and asked what I wanted the minute I said I was dropping off my lease and not purchasing a vehicle they ignored me and one guy had to force another guy to help me. As we worked on the return he made me feel like I was wasting his time. And I walked away with that yucky feeling that those guys always give me. Like I need a shower after being around snakes or something. So anyway RODO took all that away at least from the leasing side. I’m very happy. Four stars only cause of the hiccups but nothing is perfect!

  • Freaking Amazing Deal!!!

Seriously I thought it was too good to be true. I got a 2019 Honda Civic lease for $227 per month and I only paid $227 down at the dealership!!! THANK YOU RODO!!! I had been searching for a lease for several days and the best offer I had received until that point was $900 down at the dealership and $257 per month.

I downloaded the RODO app and in 5 minutes RODO found the best deal in my area. $227 per month with only the first month down at the dealership ($227). I was like “This has to be a scam... I know when I get to the dealership I’m going to have to pay more out of pocket...”. No... actually it was exactly what RODO quoted me and I applied on the RODO app on a Sunday afternoon and had my car Monday night. (I chose to pick up the car at the dealership instead of using the service of having the car delivered to me. Basically I wanted the car sooner. And I only spent 1 hour at the dealership signing papers and getting my car)...

AMAZING!!! I will forever use RODO!!!

  • Far short of what it pretends to be 2

Update to “Far short of what it pretends to be”
Would you consider a company sending you notification that the only thing left was delivery of your vehicle an indication of a contractual obligation on their part to fulfill what is in writing on their app? If it were I breaking a written deal mutually accepted by both parties, does anyone rational believe it is acceptable to later say, “sorry” as a remedy when they don’t follow through, and make it sound like the dealer is who made the mistake? That is exactly what Rodo did in my case! Their reply to my complaint about the app was “sorry, it was a dealer profit margin error”. Well where I come from saying sorry is by far insufficient for falsely representing a deal, communicating that everything is completed, and they would now deliver the offer I accepted. This company does not honor the commitments they make if it comes out of their pocket! I lost $3000 on the deal while Rodo still collects their full fee! If you think companies who do not honor their commitments should exist then do business with Rodo. If you think they should be stopped then please run the other way!

  • Hate going through the dealership dog and pony show?

Then Rodo is the car buying experience meant for you too. I hate every aspect of getting a car at the dealership. Hours and hours killing your day and psychologically breaking you down. In the end wondering if you got ripped of. With this app you see exactly what you’re paying and what you’re getting. Dealerships are always reluctant to share with you how they came up with the payment. They are not even required by law to disclose what the money factor (interest rate) that you’re paying. With Rodo, all fees are disclosed up front and the payment was exactly as advertised. I like that someone already went out there and negotiated a great price. And if you think you can do better, they will let you attempt to! Finally, the greatest part.... Complimentary delivery! Unbelievable! Lease a new car and never set foot in the dealership! I have been recommending Rodo to everyone and I will be using them again. Highly recommended.

  • First Review!

    Hi All!

I was a former user of Honcker and I got worried once this became Rodo. Fear not!

After going back and forth trying to figure out what car I wanted, I was able to find the make and select the model and locate dealers and find the best price. I do love they brought back the adjustable bar so you can customize your payment by how much you want to pay at signing (taxes and all fees, just taxes, just first month)

Accepted the offer and Giuseppe found me, walked me through the entire process. To my surprise, I got even more money off as the car I got a dealer manager demo. So at this point, I got a much nicer car that’s brand new, for less money than a car I currently had with barely any options!

    Fast forward -
You upload simple paper work, take photos of everything, follow all the prompts. You get alerts once you do what you need to, additionally if you need to do anything else

I was able to pick up the car within 3-4 CALENDAR days (worked with Rodo over the weekend)

The paperwork was all done at the dealer. You can either drive there or they can deliver. I recommend deliver if you aren’t a people person, they will still try and sell you add ons when you sign paperwork with the finance managers (the dealer)

Giuseppe and team are the best.

    Highly recommend!

    Thanks

  • The RODO app rocks!

I was in the market for a new car and went about it in the usual way, Visiting dealers looking for their lease deals. Suddenly I came across the RODO app and it was a game changer. No longer was I stuck listening to the salespeople telling me, “If you want that payment, every $1000 you put down will lower your payment by about $30”. What a crock. That in fact has nothing to do with your getting a great deal on a lease or the payment you want. I ended up at a dealership looking at their TOP of the line showroom car, I asked about it and of course the payments were going to be in the upper 500s. I was like well, maybe not. THEN! I pulled out my RoDo app and found the exact, EXACT SAME CAR in there. I showed it to the dealer and they told me, they’re just trying to get you in there, once your there you’ll see the prices will change. I read the fine print and told them, it’s right there in black and white! Long story short, I pulled the trigger and ended up getting the exact same showroom car for thousands less! Great work RoDo! Highly recommend app.
