Service and customer service is awful

I’ve been going back and forth for the past week about them cutting my lawn 4 days after they already cut it!!! Grass doesn’t even have the chance to grow that quickly with no rain water, the pictures of before and after are identical after taken account of the streak marks on the lawn. The customer service really tried to offer me a discount on service when the contractor should have noticed my grass was already cut and looked fine. Get this app off the App Store.

I Don’t Recommend Task Easy

When on my property while doing the lawn my fence gate screw was broke and they denied my claim because of course wasn’t home to have proof that they damaged my fence so it’s the contractors word against mine. You can do better finding your own contractor that won’t leave you hanging after they cause damage to your property and deny it. They claim if anything happens to your property while they are on it they will fix it. Well saying that they will sounds great on paper until something actually happens

Major issues with this app

I used Task Easy for over a decade. It worked well but I got locked out of my account when I changed addresses. They couldn’t help me access my account and then I had no control of when contractors were coming or my billing info. I called several times and asked to close the account, remove my credit card info. They said it would be done but it never was. Contractors continued to come, I continued being billed. Eventually I had to block transactions through my credit card company. Even then it was a fight to get them to close my account. App works great if you never have issues, but once you have issues, it’s a nightmare.

Do not use this app and service. The worst.

I have used Task Easy lawn mowing service under my wife’s account. It is simply the worst service ever. They never show up on schedule. Rescheduling 3 times is normal. Their excuse is always the same (“We could not find a contractor”) with a superficial, automated apology. I have tried to be patient with them, but cannot bear their terrible service scheduling any longer. I will cancel the contract with them and remove the account. Done.

Never on time

Just want to give a newer review of this service & echo the review from a few years ago. Typically no one shows up during the date window when the app says service is booked, with no communication from TaskEasy. The quality & price of the actual lawn work that eventually gets done are fine, but the consistent no-call no-shows are just not worth it. This was a consistent issue for me over 2 years until I finally cancelled this spring.

Don’t Recommend Task Easy

I don’t recommend Task Easy what so ever. I signed up for Task Easy to find a reliable company to service my property the contractor I was originally signed with one contractor they never showed up and kept changing the day I had selected because they claim you can pick your one day. When the contractor actually did show they didn’t do a good job. I eventually was assigned another contractor and never showed up ether and so let Task Easy know I had found someone on my own and they actually do a great job. I do like the fact that you can get before and after pictures of the work but that’s about it. If your considering on using Task Easy to find a reliable Lawn service don’t. Your better off finding your own plus it’s cheaper paying the contractor directly.

Good in theory

When the contractor shows up it’s a good service. However, this rarely happens. My last job was rescheduled 3 times before being canceled. They just send you an email apology and cancel your service. I would recommend using a different service or just call around to local contractors.

Bad service

It’s common to have them reschedule by a day or two with no notice, but this month they haven’t shown up to four straight appointments and have rescheduled five times. I sent emails and messages and finally called to see what it would take to have someone come. By this point, it had been over three weeks since my last mow. Save yourself the trouble and money and find someone else, I have.

Login every time

I had to go through like 5 contractors before i found one that is reliable and does a great job. The first few were just whoever signed up as wanting to mow lawns. Literally one of them was a husband & wife team that showed up at 8pm in a sedan with a lawn mower hanging out the trunk. The cut-off time IS 8pm. But like i said, i finally got a great contractor who is professional and does an excellent job every time. Only problem now is that when he completes a job and the app asks me to rate it, i have to login every single time. I’m not going to look up my login info for this. Just make it use face id or stop requiring login at all since it’s on my phone.

Nothing but lies

I have been a customer for years and I loved this company but this year I’m getting nothing but lies and horrible customer service.
I was suppose to have service 3 weeks ago and constantly been told we don’t know what’s going on or we need to find another contractor.
Some guy finally does show up and it was about to rain and the yard honestly wasn’t too bad and we agreed he could show up early next week.
He does not and now my yard is starting to look bad and I need it cut to start a yard treatment.
I called customer service the day after he was suppose to show up and they have no clue why he didn’t show up the day before and he can’t come today because it might rain.
I gave them until Friday or I’m done.
What a idiotic horrible display of customer service.
If something is wrong be honest and talk to me like an adult don’t lie and don’t tell me you’re sorry when you aren’t.
Whoever the leadership is at this company they should be worried about looking for another job soon because you ain’t gonna have one here if this continues.
