TERRIBLE, DISGUSTINGLY NON-RESPONSIVE

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! This app contracts random third-parties to service your property, however, that’s only IF they actually do what they advertise here. I’ve waited 4+ weeks for service and received NOTHING. I have diligently called their service line for assistance daily and been promised that someone would arrive for my lawn care needs and none was provided. JUST ENDED A 20-MINUTE PHONE CALL AS I WRITE THIS REVIEW AND WAS PROMISED SOMEONE WOULD ARRIVE WITHIN THE HOUR...I asked to speak with a SUPERVISOR and was told that representatives aren’t allowed to transfer calls to them. Quite honestly, this service provider/app is a complete joke. Look elsewhere for your property care needs at all costs. HOW IS THIS “COMPANY” EVEN IN BUSINESS???????

UPDATE: I contacted the company based on the email provided in response to my review here and they replied with a series of excuses as to why my home hadn’t been serviced for 30+ days, even stating that my home had been scheduled the entire time...however I don’t quite understand how that explains the extensive delay of 4+ weeks without service being that they should have procured another contractor in the midst of the horrible experience provided for so long.

Again, DO NOT BOTHER WITH TASKEASY!

They came one time !

Been trying to get support all summer .. keep being told they will find me a contractor and yet nobody comes ... they came one time this whole summer the yard looks like a jungle and because it’s so late In the season other contractors are trying to charge $200+ per .. very displeased I wouldn’t recommend. I used them last year with little issues but this year they are absolutely garbage

Unreliable

We first started with TaskEasy during the covid shutdown. They were offering free lawn cut for healthcare workers on the frontline. This was a Godsend for me and my husband working tirelessly on the frontline. We were so happy with the service, we hired the contractor to mow weekly which was done on time maybe 2 times, but I thought this maybe due to weather delays. I saw they offered addl services like Fertilizer and spring clean up and scheduled both. Fertilizing was scheduled and rescheduled several times. Then I get the alert to approve the job. No one had came to do this, no photos were taken I was in my kitchen all day, no one completed this task. I rejected the job on the app. I was eventually told by customer service they dont have the “equipment to fertilize “ Fishy that they tried to get paid for it. The spring cleaning was scheduled for 2 weeks and never completed. So I cancelled. Not reliable.

Thank you for working tirelessly on the frontlines. We have experienced some challenges during this season for many reasons such as contractors and the restrictions with servicing in certain counties, contractors that have fallen ill, and weather. We do understand how frustrating it can be to not have services as scheduled and apologize for your experience. We do hope that the first two services were a good experience that in the future you may give us another chance to offer a better experience with TaskEasy.

Difficult to say which is worse...

The app is terrible but the customer service is worse. This is a go-between with contractors. TaskEasy doesn’t have any control over the contractors- so quality and reliability depend solely on luck of the draw. When there is a problem, customer service is unable to understand even the simplest of issue such as a no-show contractor. They offer apologies and promises but never results. At the end of the day it’s easier to hire someone yourself and costs far less when factoring your time and constant frustration.

App. Crashes and no more custom service request option

I love my contractor’s services however, the app crashes most of the times I ever try to open it (this has continued for over a year despite always updating my phone and the app). There is also no more option to request a custom service from my contractor so I am limited to only using him for mowing or the three other things Offered by TaskEasy but can’t contact with him to do other things. TaskEasy doesn’t provide the contact information for the contractor so I can’t even hire him outside the app for those things and customer service has never responded to me regarding if there are other options for hiring for custom services now that that option is gone from the app and website.

Awesome Service

I have been using Taskeasy for 2 years. It has been so great! It saves our Saturday for other things instead of having to do yard work all day! I travel for work occasionally and I love getting the photos when the work was completed!

STAY AWAY!!!!

Tried this service for the first time and it was nothing but problems from day 1. Scheduling your service and getting a price was quick and easy. But everything else was a total disaster.

The day of my scheduled service I had to call the customer service desk to see why no one ever showed up. The person that I spoke to told me this rarely happens but will try to reach out to the contractor assigned to my home. After being on hold for 20 minutes he came back and said he could not reach the contractor and will reschedule my service.

A week later TaskEasy had to reschedule my service again because unforeseen circumstances. After 3 weeks of rescheduling a contractor finally came only to have my service price double because of a “grass overgrown fee”.

I will never use this service again how can you not service my lawn for 3 weeks and than charge me for your screw up. Totaly ridiculous.

Poor process

I scheduled weekly lawn mowing and one time spring clean up. Requests were confirmed and then contractor never showed up. When I called to inquire, I was told customer service could not reach the contractor. I was told to call back the next day if the contractor did not show up again. If I had time to track down contractors, I would have time to cut my own grass. Very poor service!

Hates mowing lawn; loves TaskEasy

This app makes lawn care easier than ever. Measure your lawn. Select your package. Checkout and you're done. A quality landscaper shows up a few days later. I recommend this app/service to any homeowner who doesn't like mowing their lawn. My landscaper does a terrific job and they don't get paid until I approve the work. Keep up the good work TaskEasy!

Easy and Convenient

This app has made setting up lawn care 10x easier. I highly recommend this app to individuals who are renters or live alone. Simply put, this app allows for one to conveniently, effortlessly, and quickly set up quality lawn care to their front door. The services provided are professional and dependable! My lawn has never looked so good!
