  • Stopped Working

After 2 years, the app will no longer let me log in. I couldn’t find any support info. I enter my log in info & the screen goes to the home screen. Then flashes blank & returns to log in. I have no patience for trying to figure out why an app just stops functioning.
  • Didn’t automatically transfer readings?

I don’t get it. I took a blood pressure reading, and the app saw it, but when I press the +, the readings did not transfer. The date I can enter automatically by just tapping the field, but what about the systolic, diastolic, and pulse numbers? I have to enter them manually? I must be doing something wrong. Plus of course the same complaint that everybody else has it only seems to support one person. Please update this app!

  • DO NOT BUY Welch Allyn Home products if you want to use with more than one person in household!

PLEASE update the device/app to support pairing to multiple phones. Without this feature, Welch Allyn Home products can only be used by ONE person in the household. Every other modern Bluetooth device supports this very basic functionality. Looks like the app hasn’t been updated in over 2 years. No bug fixes? No security updates? Unacceptable!

  • Can’t believe this cannot support multiple users and phones

The unit and app cannot support multiple users.
The unit and app cannot sync to multiple phones.

The unit only supports bluetooth - no wifi support.

Who buys a scale for just one person?

If this is fixable in software, it must be fixed or I will have to return this.

Our 10 year old Withings scale had better connectivity (wifi), multiple profiles, and multi-phone support. Get your act together Welch-Allyn.

  • Great device, lousy App

I’ve had this BP device for a year and a half. I purchased a Welch Allyn BP device because of their reputation. I worked in healthcare my entire career, and that’s the brand we used. The device takes very accurate and consistent measurements. The App is another story. It’s always been the weak link with a lot of rough edges, but at least it recorded my results accurately—until recently. Now I have to actually delete the App and reinstall it to get the App and Device to connect, and then only once, then it’s “gone” again. I now log my results manually. I suspect this Bluetooth connectivity issue may be related to a recent Apple IOS update. I hope Welch Allyn addresses this issue soon. They have the ability update the firmware on the device.

  • Bluetooth doesn’t sync

I love the b/p device but I have to reinstall the app daily to get my moms readings. It doesn’t ever download and save to the list unless I uninstall and reinstall the app for each use. Very frustrating as it does not even store the reading so If it doesn’t transfer and I wasn’t immediately looking at it, we must repeat. The only reason I paid this much was for the Bluetooth capability.

  • Weight Into Welch Allyn Home App?

    Forgetaboutit....

Supposed to work; Apple Health and Welch Allyn Home sharing data, including weight readings from Health into Welch Allyn. Well it used to work but no more. Called Welch Allyn and they advised they can be of NO HELP with this issue. Thank you Welch Allyn for nothing.
  • Are you listening manufacturer?

Do you see the complaints? Focus on the user experience. I've had to reinstall multiple times due to the app saying it couldn't read the DB.
  • Poor implementation

Does not interface with iHealth. W-A seems to be trying to either keep your data as their own or doesn’t understand how to implement sharing.
  • Good app but still has bugs

For instance, it does not reflect the date (sometimes) and time (sometimes) of the blood pressure test. Thus, a lot of measurings are mixed up by date and time making the app useless.
