The whole game is locked behind a seasonal paywall

The game is pretty fun, but unless you’ll be willing to purchase a season pass to the story I wouldn’t suggest it. It lets you play a few easy levels through the map to make you feel like a boss, and then tells you “The free part of the game has ended.”

Don’t get me wrong, I like the game a lot. However, it’s still one of those games that give you the choice of devoting an ungodly amount of time and effort into making yourself strong, or spend a little money and make yourself over powered, that and after awhile you have to pay to even continue playing. Spending money on something like Gems will not currently unlock the story for you, they’re separate purchases.

These developers have made a pretty fun game, and if money isn’t an issue I recommend it. They deserve the support (even though it almost feels like they’re milking the money out of you). Otherwise, try not to get your hopes too high like I did.

Really

First few levels free but they are full of an unskipable tutorial that has an unbelievable slow pace don’t wast your time

Good game

Great game a lot of fun

It’s a fun game, but

This is a really fun game and a game to sorta feel really good playing when you out smart your opponent, I have no complaints about the campaign it’s challenging but fun the perfect combo. Though the multiplayer can be very frustrating, it seems ridiculously the fact someone has more morale (stars) means their units are so much stronger, someone can turtle (which is just doing nothing and sitting there waiting for you to make a move) for an entire game and just defend when you attack and boom they get stars and then they can dominate you cause everything about their units is better

It would be 5 But there’s something missing.

I like this game for its multiplayer player feature and the ability to gradually unlock everyone. But it lacks in longevity if the consumer doesn’t get to experience the rest of the game or story without paying for it in pieces although we get to unlock and use the all the characters. For what it’s worth It’s basically a multiplayer game and meant for you to just grind, earn, and watch a few ads to get you energized and chests. For energy it’s 3 per ad and 1 energy for every perk you use in a war so if you constantly feel yourself using perks then you are usually going to be low on energy and eventually out of perks. There is a lot of ways to make money without giving half of the game. But I do overall love and play this games multiplayer religiously. It would be a 5 with more content with at least stories of the characters and more levels or Bonus levels. I mean there are so many characters how could some of the games campaign NOT be free?

Summary of the game

MW2 provides hours of entertainment for the competitive strategy loving gamers.

The multiplayer feature is completely free and for me, it’s the main attraction. At first the game may seem a simple concept, but the more you play, you start to realise the water-side of a strategy iceberg which will have you hooked on a positive feedback cycle, eventually sitting playing the game for hours on end. The energy system is somewhat annoying, but creates an eagerness for the player to win more games, open more chests and unlock new characters just to get more energy.

The single player is great to play when your energy has run out, but you will have to pay for the chapters. Nevertheless the 4 optional difficulty’s provide a great way to practice the desired maps and enhance your skills.

The game does not force adverts onto your screen, which I admire. Adverts are watched on demand for rewards, but unlike most apps it is not necessary for game progression.

There are a few bugs here and there. Currently the game is down because it requires an update, but there is no update available. This is the first time this has happened for me and hopefully it can be fixed.

Overall, I really enjoy this game and have had hours of usage. It is much more interesting than mind numbing tapping games and I would definitely recommended to my friends.

best game ever

simply, the best

Money based rip-off

I had watched many people play this game, thinking it was good because I like RTS games, but as time went on, I realized that this game seems more like a demo to me. The fact that you can only play 5 levels of the first campaign is stupid enough, but the fact that you have to buy everything is retarded. I have seen people’s reviews of this game, saying how they have put money into this game just to get it put into ‘coming soon’ chapters, I feel that that is a rip-off. You think the developers of this game would be kind enough to put into the game that the money spent on other chapters would be to show your support, they aren’t. They want you to think that you are buying the other chapters, but really, they are tricking you into a scam. Sure, you could try to reach out to the developers and ask for a refund if you found out the hard way, but they don’t care. In reality, the people who give this game 4 or 5 stars are probably just developers of the game under-cover to make the game look good, or they are just people with money to spend and too much time on their hands. I have decided to delete the game from my iPad because I want no part in this rip-off of a game.

Pay walls everywhere

Can’t play for free, so not a free game

Pay and then pay more

Not a balanced game as they said it would be. Unless you spend a lot of money not to mention that you have to buy the game in the first place. Yes they do give you a few plays for free at the beginning but then you have to spend your money to access more levels. And for each one out of 4 episodes you need to pay again. There are 4 difficult settings and when you play on the easiest you just skip through the stages. It’s not even fun. But to make a bit more interesting and you put a difficulty up by one you get killed easily. To play on the higher ones you need to upgrade your characters and that means spend more money. £££$$$€€€
Thought it would be a nice strategy game to play daily but they are just trying to rip everybody off.
