Make Better Matchmaking System
This app is really good except for the fact that they got rid of the damage requirement. Now, I am at level 12 battle level and I am still matchmaking with people who are battle level 1 and low 20s level in Pokémon Go. It’s not my fault that they’re bad at the game so they need stronger people to defeat a legendary raid. For example, I just did a raid a couple minutes ago and everyone besides the host and I were level 26 or below. THEY WERE LITERALLY USING SNORLAXES AND MEWTWOS which are horrendous counters against Dialga. The host and I were the only ones with proper counters such as Groudon and Machamp. Then, I lose my raid pass that take days to get since I am free-to-play. All in All, the app is great. My only request is to either bring back the damage requirements or don’t allow players who have had the game for a week (yes, it took me only a week to reach level 25) in higher tier raids/lobbies.Show lessGamerGuyReviews
Great but if you can’t join the raid for some reason you don’t get another chance in another lobby
This app is great to find people to raid with or just find raids to battle in but the problem is that if something goes wrong and you don’t get to join the raid for some reason, like you don’t get an invitation or the lobby is full, you have to wait again for another turn. I wish there was a makeup lobby if you couldn’t join the raid because it was full or whatever because it’s frustrating to have to wait a long time if it were a popular Pokémon that people raid for. I get that people might abuse the makeup lobby by lying about not being able to join the raid to be able to keep on raiding again if a makeup lobby was a solution when you can’t join a raid which is why they only allow you to do this if the host times out or leaves the lobby but at least do something where it would makeup for the time being lost waiting for a raid and end up not being able to join. Reliable and easy to use
When you click over and over trying to get into matches on go raid party and stuff like that but the “premium members” get it first for the first couple days until they’re bored… always click in and have my spot saved… they notify me when it’s my turn… simple. Plus I’ve noticed they show you way ahead of upcoming mosters when others don’t, that way you can prepare. Alone with all the extra in the app it’s a one stop place for everything. They keyboard and importing monster and having complete stat library along with the future of my monsters and which ones to build up and evolve. This app has been the main tool for me for the past couple years level 1-39 so it’s seen a couple thousand of my monsters uploaded 😂 great app wouldn’t use anything else. 5 starsShow lessn8r3dd
Raid hosting frustration
This app has great features, however one big flaw..
Don’t waste your time trying to host a raid with this app. 7 attempts and 45 mins later I finally managed to wrangle a lobby of competent players to make it the whole way into joining the raid. Definite need for tweaking things to make it more successful when hosting.Show lessDar0pe

Your experience sounds extremely unusual. Please make sure to follow all the instructions, including step 4. Also, during raid hour events, host queues can get really long.I use this app so much it’s crazy
When I first downloaded this app I wasn’t sure how much I was going to use it. But it’s become an absolute staple and a must have. I use it for so many reasons: 1. Remote Raids where you will consistently be able to raid any time with a full party. 2. PVP IV Percentages (super useful for battles and choosing which Pokémon to transfer) 3. I use it to reference effectiveness and weaknesses for defending/attacking 4. What CP your Pokémon will be if you want to power up/evolve/purify etc. 5. Inputting your Pokémon and how it pulls the data is super fast/easy as well 6. You can see what the best move sets and Pokémon counters are for raids based on what you have and what’s best overall. I could go on lol it’s really solid you should download it if you actively play this game period. I would love somehow if you could incorporate a way to know how your Master League Pokémon will perform / PVP IV % - I know this is harder to calculate but still would be great.👌🏼🙏🏼 Thank you for a great app!Show lessTaylorEllisO
A new dimension
This is a must have app for pokemon players. I love how it can recommend raid teams from your actual inventory of pokemons. This is very useful especially for newer players who must still learn optimal counters etc. Secondly the app makes 5 star raids more accessible. It is so much easier to join raids and I feel the success rate of beating high star raids is higher as well because you are more likely to be part of a strong raid party. It adds a new dimension to an already fun game.Show lesspityposter
Essential tool
I first got this app just as a way to look up Pokémon stats and moves. For this purpose it is fantastic and is much quicker and more reliable to trying to use the internet.
But once I started to explore and use its raid function, this app has become essential to playing Pokémon.
Now I can participate in raids and obtain Pokémon and rewards that I never could get before.Show lessshane333555777
Great app! Hosting section needs work.
This app is great for those looking to get the most out of their Pokemon Go experience. The hosting and attending raids is a game changer. What talks lots of coordination in private chat groups is no longer necessary with this app. That being said I’ve wasted a number of remote raid passes on not having one person join the raid or too many newish players in one group. I know the cap is 5 for inviting so it would be nice if PokieGenie used the level and the Pokémon scanned in their app of the person to match for the raids. Maybe this already done but it doesn’t seem like it.
One other thing if the lobby is full and one of those people said they sent a friend request and for whatever reason it doesn’t go through it screws the whole group over. There needs to be a way to say hey I didn’t get this invite add another person to the lobby as a host.

Don’t think just get it
I played around with poke raid and other apps and they’re not even comparable to genie. I don’t bother with any other apps for raids etc now because genie is simple as hell, convenient and doesn’t force you to rely on the unreliability of people. If you’ve ever been disappointed or had your raid pass wasted because of incompetence on the raid host end then get this. You’ll wonder why it wasn’t downloaded before.Show lessworthdloading
Amazing and easy!
I don’t normally write reviews, but this app is awesome. I have had it tucked into a folder for years now on my iPhone, and it’s come so far since I last opened it. I used it for IV levels back in 2018, but the screenshot function was a bit tedious. The introduction of IVision and the ability to scan, name, and verify without leaving Pokémon Go is peak genius. Add that to the ability to join remote raids around the world, and I am blown away by this. The cherry on top? It analyzes my current Pokémon and move sets and suggests the top battle lineup, with a quick and easy copy/paste function to select the right ‘mons.
Anyone who plays Pokémon Go needs this app. I spent weeks trying to beat a Mega raid, but there weren’t enough people around here ready to play when I needed them. Now? I can raid within minutes. There’s also a high success rate (so far 100% for the raids I’ve played) as the app verifies whether or not someone has the capability to deal the damage needed to win a Legendary with six people. You don’t need to purchase anything in the app, but I bought all the upgrades just to give this developer their due. I had two issues I emailed about and the answer and fix was prompt! I’ve emailed companies with dozens of people and not gotten such a quick response or true fix. For a single person to have developed this and be running it is astounding.
