Best for the taxis service

Not only they keep you informed about drivers name, no o mate & approaching times, they also have great customer services & offer discounts vouchers which can be redeemed on the Rydo app. On top of all that Rydo prices are much more reasonable than Uber which Can’t compare at all. Best service ever ! keep up with great work Rydo

Not for tourists

Lets you enter a UK number then says it’s invalid.

Great, reliable cab service. I even left some very important personal items in the cab and was able to get them back without any issue - I highly recommend them!

Atrocious

Worst taxi service I have ever tried using. Made a booking (scheduled pickup) then got 10 confirmation SMS each with different driver details. Called Rydo they confirmed the booking and the driver name. In the morning of my pickup I was left stranded then received a new booking confirmation - when I called the driver he said he already pickup up someone, I need to call Rydo - was left stranded and missed a flight as a result!
Avoid especially if you are planning a scheduled pickup!

Getting more expansive than Uber

1/4/23: I was so close to deleting this app, after multiple cancelled trips which I still got charged for, and had to chase up for a month for the refund due to trips that was canceled by the drivers. One time a drive claimed to have arrived but actually lied, because we were standing at the pick up spot for 20 mins waiting. Decided to give this app one last chance after support team, Andrew, helped me resolve the refund with one phone call and his customer service was exceptional! Rydo has Andrew to thank for, for getting one last chance from an user.

New experience

Just downloaded as had a coupon from previous trip. Highly recommend as an alternative to ride share options.

Don’t Use This App!

Useless. Booked a cab 2 weeks in advance. It was confirmed and drivers details provided on the morning of our event, drivers never showed up so I called him and all he could say was “I can’t get there”. Company said no other drivers were available, that was it - we were left stranded. I emailed a con playing to the company and never received a response. My advice would be to steer well clear if this useless app.

Avoid using this app at all cost!

I tried to pre-book a ride through your app on 22 Jun.
The time stamp was incorrectly recorded on your app, had to call your hotline to fix that, no big deal.
At last nobody took my booking, no worries.
I got $18 deducted from my bank account, no refund has been made so far, that’s unacceptable.
Made a call to your hotline on the Saturday 2 weeks ago, was told that I have to call the office on Monday to get a refund, that’s fine.
I called the office on the following Monday, was told that the refund should have been made, so I had screen print my transaction record and send to your email address, that was annoying but I could deal with that.
It’s been a week and I could not hear anything back, so I called your office number again.
Emile “the Call Centre Manager” picked my call, and I was trying to explain my situation again to get the refund. Got very blunt, rude and reluctant reply again as “ refund should have been made”. I was very disappointed about your low standard of customer service while taking my money for nothing. And I have to go through so much of hassles and attitudes from your team to try to get a refund. Plus your “manager” Emile hung up my call at last!
I will try to share my unhappy customer experience with as much people as possible and let them know your app should be avoided by all means.

Started out great but now it’s all No-shows and ghosting

What a novel concept. Calling cabs as if you’re calling an Uber with the same sort of difference in rates. Unfortunately of late and this is the last few weeks I’ve had drivers either not show up or cancel at the last minute or tell me they’re nearby now and be 30 minutes away because they’ve turned off their GPS (With the app showing zero minutes away) and today I had a booking I made last night for this morning get cancelled at the time of pickup after confirmation and I wasn’t told and they keep hanging up on me when I call them. I can’t recommend this in good faith.

Do not use - Charged for no show

First time I used this service and have been made to pay for no service.
Set up a pre-booked time....no confirmation that a taxi had accepted my request. Thought it would be like Uber where you can track your taxi.
Waited for 10 minutes, no show, so I made alternative transport.
Never had a phone call, text, app service from any taxi but was charged for the trip anyway, even though a taxi never turned up.
Refund me ASAP please
