  • Useless App Useless Delivery Service

    This company just delivers however they want. They don’t try and make delivery convenient at all.
  • GUYS PLEASE!!!

    Jesus Christ to whoever has developed this app!!! You CAN NOT force into your customers to put in a phone number without giving them a chance to close that page and see what other options are within the app. Me for instance have a parcel coming but your app doesn't allow me to see it as the "put in your phone number pop up" is on the way and there is no way i can close it. You need to take into consideration that people might no have a phone number or it has been used for other account with in the same company. Use your common sense and let people at least see what is coming for them and it's up to them to give you a phone number or not. Im stuck as i haven't got a new number to give in even though i have a parcel coming to my adress. NOTHING CAN BE DONE WITH YOUR APP unless we add a phone number which i haven't got one, how amazing isn't it?! Think about all scenarios before enforcing something into your app guys!!! Come on...

  • Useless courier

    Have only ever used yodel twice, first time was years ago for a package, when the package arrived it had been opened, several items broken, and if you think this was a transit issue or poor wrapping: the gift cards inside had also suspiciously been opened. So obviously I steered clear of yodel. But last week I ordered a new modem and sadly this is the company courier. I booked an 8-1pm delivery slot, got told at 11am on the day that it would actually be 4-6:45pm, and then they never even bothered to show up after wasting my entire day. To make matters worse, they claimed they tried to deliver but it failed! Absolutely useless and dishonest company. Got told to download the app on the website to see more info about my order, they lied, it just tells you the exact same thing, but now they have my details to harass me with marketing - needless to say it won’t be working on me!

  • Shocking

    If you ever have the option to see which Postal Service is used take a look and if it is yodel I recommend you either do an order or order from somewhere else yodel is the most terrible shocking delivery service I have ever come across in all my life and I use a lot of postal services first of all they don’t take care of your package secondly they can have your package for anything up to 2 weeks and simply not deliver it with the excuse we tried to deliver it but you wasn’t home which is always a load of rubbish as you can be sat home for a month waiting for it and they will still give you the same excuse when the drivers are busy they simply skip your delivery especially if you live in a apartment block then you have next to no chance I have had to return around 70% of my packages that I have had delivered through your door because the goods were damaged they are simply terrible I wouldn’t recommend them at all

  • Poorly written

    Tried setting up this app, wants my cell number. I have tried every format I can think of and the message I get says invalid format. Totally useless. Hire some programmers who know how to write error message or parse it to the correct format.
  • Awful App Useless

    This app is terrible. The app does not have my address listed. The house has been here for literally centuries! You can’t enter it manually either. It won’t let me change the delivery date. In fact all the services are unavailable. Leave with a neighbour, leave in a safe place, change date, change address, collect from depot, hold I’m on holiday and deliver to a CollectPlus point. What is the point of it? The e-mail that led me to download the app has informed me that… “ We won’t ask you to sign for your parcel. We’ll take a photo of it in an open doorway as proof it has been delivered.” So that is great, my parcel will be left for any passer by to pick up, but that’s ok because the delivery driver took a picture of it as he left it on my open front door! I will desperately need to try and contact a human being then to rearrange the delivery. What a stressful terrible service!

  • Customer experience lets it down

    Overall the App itself is fairly easy to use, lets you know when the order is being delivered ect. But with the experience I’m still having, I don’t recommend using yodel at all. I ordered my parcel a week ago from now, and I am still yet to have any update where my parcel is and when it will be delivered. This wouldn’t be such an issue if I didn’t opt for the next day delivery, but considering I haven’t had an update since the app stating “there’s been a delay” my parcels whereabouts i unknown. This is when I contacted yodel 3 times to each have the same response” please allow 48 hours while we track this for you” having waited that long, yodel still can’t seem to find me a correct answer to where my parcel still is. I then had someone tell me to expect to receive a text message with my 2 hour slot option, which I never received. Overall I am still waiting for an update that seems like it will never happen, just wish places such as ASOS wouldn’t rely on yodel as their courier as there are much better, reliable options out there, such as DPD with their amazing track record

  • Absolutely useless courier

    I was told my order was due to be delivered Friday 10th Sept, waited all day and guess what, didn’t arrive. I contacted Yodel by web chat, what a waste of time, I was told that there were delays and my parcel would be delivered next day, guess what, the parcel didn’t arrive, the app still showed the previous days delivery details and hadn’t updated. I contacted web chat 3 times that day and was told it’s on its way, guess what, didn’t arrive. I waited Monday and no delivery so I changed my delivery date to Saturday 18th Sept which is today, Yodel app had updated with today’s details but hasn’t been assigned to a driver as of yet, I have no confidence that it will arrive even though it’s taken them 8 days to update the app. Absolutely appalling service, you can’t speak to an operator, apps crap, doesn’t update and web chat fob you off. Disgusting service. The parcel is for my grandson and he was so excited and I had to watch him in tears waiting all day Saturday for his Lego to be delivered. I think they’ve lost the parcel. Rubbish, rubbish. I only gave 1 star because there is no option for anything lower.

  • Useless web chat, terrible courier service

    I wouldn’t recommend using yodel as a delivery service unless there is no other option.

    I live in a slightly rural area and not in a city/town so I do understand that the address isn’t the easiest to find but the postcode does take you exactly to where my house and two others are and my house does have a sign with the house name.

    It felt like there was no real attempt to deliver the parcel and once the driver was in the general are they turned back around instead of trying to contact me like other couriers would have. The only way I knew there was an issue was when I checked the tracker and the latest update was “address query” (which if there was an address query I’m not sure why it was left till the day of deliver to flag it to me). The update was made around midday and I didn’t look on the tracker till about 4pm and there was no email/text to let me know there was an error.

    When on the web chat service while I was out the formatting kept jumping around and was very glitchy.

    When I got home and tried again on my laptop it worked a lot better but they were reluctant to answer my questions and made very vague comments, with the chat essentially ending with useless info and and the lady on the other end hanging up.

    Overall not happy with yodel.
