My Go To App for Monochrome
I have used Carbon for many years and it remains my go to app for monochrome editing. An array of preset b&w and toning filters along with textures and borders allow you to quickly create stunning images from your photos. Carbon is an amazing app! I’ve been looking for B & W filters and Carbon provides an array for all types of photos. I’ve received many compliments when I’ve used the app and pictures I’ve posted. Also, when I got a new phone, I couldn’t find where to restore one of the photo packs I purchased. Ritvik responded to my email right away which I honestly never expected would happen! I am an avid image maker. Over the years, I have used many editing apps to tweak my photos. Without a doubt, “Carbon” is the only photographic editing app that I would fully endorse as the number one app when it comes to my monochrome images. New Subscription Model Misses the MarkReview
Long-time fan of Carbon here, but their recent shift to a subscription model has left me disappointed. It feels like a move that prioritizes earnings over the community's loyalty. This change, without much warning or consideration for existing users, undermines the trust we had in the app. I get the need for revenue, but this approach feels more like a step back. I’ve been using this app on my iPhone for a while now and I also have the presets for Lightroom. Simple to use and stunning black & white presets which would take forever to make individually. I happily recommend this app and love the speed of use when just needing to make a photograph look superb.
