Worth a good play
I recommend even if you aren’t looking for a serious game and just need something to pass the time maybe you wanna compete with your bf or gf on this game to see who can get the better hero’s and stuff like that wa wa wa too much talking and yeah I’m speaking from experience but anyway yeah it’s a good few hours but I know I’ll make a week out of playing this game reason it’s not 5 stars is simply because it isn’t an original game there are many like it but don’t let that be the reason you don’t play it’s still unique as it gives you far better rewards for your time than most of these type of games do (:Show lessLeon Muckersie
Good but..... needs work!!! New crusade map is HORRID!
If you kick someone you can block them, as you do get disgusting messages from some. WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN is being able to ban them from rejoining.... I have fed this back, but will see if anything done.... which my last review was removed as was 1 star and feedback ignored! They rejoin and ruin wars. Also, with wars people join just before and then do nothing! Wars need to be top 20 of guild and then others get rewards IF still in guild at the end of war! TOO many join do nothing and still get rewards even if kicked!! VERY BAD! Also, too much going on, need sometimes to have at least a day between things.... sometimes have boss event and war on at same time! Too much at times when constant......
They recently changed crusades battles and it is AWFUL. Whereas before you worked way upto the top of the battles, now shorter and random movements into other worlds, so going around in circles. HORRID! None of us in my family like it. Plus ALOT LESS rewards!

Been playing nearly. 6 years and since it was sold to another company it’s a cash grab and I feel sorry for newer players never been able to catch up.
It’s run by far too few people so updates and bugs become troublesome.
At the same time it’s a good game from the ground up when it was first made, the new features are good if you’re not as idle as it says you need to be. PvP is very broken and complicated and needs studying first if that’s what you like in a game. Used to be 5/5 now 3/5Show lessGarndogg

*Update*
They reverted the game back to the old guild war (awesome), we have X3 flooz event with 80 chests again (super awesome!), they fixed the special offers to include the magic medals and dungeon ticket packs at original cost (freaking awesome!), and now have a schedule for the special offers. They do polls now about upcoming changes and ask for feedback. The Devs didn’t seem to listen to us in the beginning but they’re definitely listening now and the game is great again! It’s like they’re trying to ruin the game
I’m a 4 year player about 50/50 paid and f2p over the years. It has always been my favorite IDLE game. But the original owners sold it to a new company and let me tell you, they haven’t made one beneficial player decision since. It’s almost like they sit around and actively try to make the worst possible decision for the game, and they update it with newer more mind numbing decisions every week to try and fix what they did, which just makes everything even worse. I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s remarkable how the devs can be this good at being the worst. It’s not an exaggeration. They are the worst devs (decision making wise) of any game I’ve ever played. This WAS a perfect idle game and people spent tons of money if they wanted but you could be very competitive f2p of a few dollars here and there. Now? Just run away from this app because some devs just want to watch the world burn and I think they are in charge of this app.Show lessBadhabitz91
Recent Updates Ruined This Game
This used to be one of the greatest mobile games and then a new company took over. They originally made immense improvements that made it even better. Recently however, they’ve scaled some of those improvements back. Doing so has almost made the game worse than it originally was. They’re either money hungry or just plain dumb. The biggest issue is the change in the 2x flooz event. It originally was x2 flooz with 80 chests. They changed it to x3, which made it so much better. They then reverted back to x2 flooz, but with only 40 chests, so now it takes forever to save up. That combined with them changing the special offers, which cost more flooz now, and offer less makes it much harder to progress. They say they can’t change it now, since they’ve faced severe backlash, but they continue to update the game to change other things? it doesn’t make sense that they can completely change guild wars, which no one asked for, but not change how they screwed up the flooz system? they even continue to update and change the new guild war mode, fixing their screw ups multiple times, but cant fix their actual problems? Everyone should boycott this game. There’s already a guild war boycott happening, but there needs to be more, don’t spend any money whatsoever. They need to know that they screwed up and the only way to change that is to cut off their cash flow.Show lessYoko Igbo mmmmmmm
Devs’ mistake = player punished
Y1: I loved it. I don’t have much time previously so idle rpg is good option. I like the heroes, the gameplay and if you delve deeper, there are more things to explorer.
Y2: More adventure, blitz, crusades and so more prizes to be won. So all in all good.
Y3: Can’t complain…
Y4: started to be bad. Games like these obviously the more money you spend, the better but this is where there are more options to buy heroes medal, resources etc which kinda make the rest of us left in the dust. I don’t mind really but here is the thing, I have been playing with the same guild for 4 years. We build the guild together and we just hit max the other day. We have full library. But apparently, it is a mistake by the devs. Our guild was reset to level 1 and our libraries was reset. I get it, we seems like exploited the system. But reset? We were at least level 100 and what happen with our 4 years of work? Are you telling me that it was YOUR mistake and WE, the player, PUNISHED for it? Long-term player (2 years)
I love this game, and as a long-term player, I’ve seen my fair share of updates. There have been many good updates, but as of recent, the game is heavily swaying towards a pay-to-progress / pay-to-win model. The game has always had pay-to-win options, but with the recent removal of some previously free-to-obtain progression items, the game sways towards pay-to-progress. Progress that used to take 1-2 weeks for a free player now takes 2-4 months.
They have also reduced the rate at which premium in-game currency can be obtained, which further impedes free-to-play progression.
This would not be an issue, if not for the absurd amount of ads that are presented to the players, regardless of how much money they have spent on the game. Even if they have spent over $2,000 on micro transactions, players cannot remove ads. They only get a chance to “skip” an ad after being forced to watch the first 5 seconds. Some daily rewards require players to watch an ad to receive them.
I have watched 7,389 ads in the game (data straight from my in-game profile), equating to roughly $100 at the minimum in ad revenue.
To think that they want to force players to generate more than $50/user in revenue each year is ridiculous. The game is going downhill fast, and if things don’t turn around, I highly suggest avoiding this game if you want to play any of the PVP game modes, or even the PVE game modes after you have been playing for a while.Show lessGrimy Peel
A Fallen Star
Update on the current status of this game (June 2022). The new developer, Imperial Online (IO) has basically destroyed this game. This game was by no means an innovation in this genre but it was steady and fun due to a vibrant community. That was until IO takeover in mid 2021 and it all went down hill from there. Ninja nerfs to vital free-to-play resources, stealth changes, and one bad update after another has basically driven away majority of this community. This game is just a shell of its former self and unworthy of your time or money. Io killed this game (new owners)
Free to play has become ridiculously hard, new owners over the past year have completely killed this game with their greed and constant unwanted changes every update. They don't listen to any ideas and suggestions in their discord. Their community managers have pretty much given up. Their discord is now full of constantly enraged ppl from the community due to their terrible updates that come out more and more often. In the discord currently 95% of the convo regardless of the channel is them bashing on the game, memeing on the devs stupid changes and talking about other games to play. If I was someone looking for a game to play, all I could recommend is don't waste your time trying this one until they (hopefully) get taken over by a new company that actually cares about the game! Go somewhere else if you want an enjoyable game, bc this one's time is up. I've spent 4 1/2 yrs on this one and not even a yr into the new owners (IO), I have sadly never wanted to quit more!
