Well worth the price!
I never pay for apps, but this is truly worth the price…
I’ve been using this for over two years, and it’s been a great way to track my lifting progress. It’s highly customizable, which I love, although it took a minute to learn to use. Still, glad I bought it!Best Tracking App Out There
Been using this app for almost a decade now. Tried a lot of others. This one is hands down the best and most well designed. Worth the price. It’s got a lot of features so take a little time to get used to it to find what you like and how to set it up but once you do it’s really the best.Great app, a few suggestions
I love this app, but I have a few suggestions for improvement. I would love a music controller in place of the graph, would also like a better way to view comments from the previous weeks’ sets so I know how much weight I should plan on trying to lift for the current week. Thanks! What a great workout tracking app
Perfect to track workouts if you already have a plan. Simple to use and surprisingly deep feature set. Designed perfectly for in-gym use. Not fussy to use. I also use the same developer’s Seconds app for intervals. Would love to use this with my trainer, allowing her to add workouts. Would like to sync load and volume groups with Training Peaks.Show lessMy favorite workout app
Very good app for logging workouts. Powerful program creation features to plan out every detail of your workout or just easy logging for winging it at the gym.
Some features are a little unintuitive but that’s the trade off you get for having a simple interface that does exactly all you need 98% of the time and still being capable of moreShow lessThe Best
Over the past couple years I’ve tried at least 5 different training apps. None of them really seem to suit me because I train at home, and use a weight vest. Some of the apps the out there have a limited list of exercises that you can perform and if they don’t have it you have to ask them to add it. With HeavySet that you don’t have to do that. This is probably the most flexible and easy to use app out here and it tracks your process so you can keep making gains.Show lessLove this app a lot. Just 2 things...
I love the idea. The app execution is outstanding and the UI looks incredible. There is so many features packed into a small little versatile app, but I feel like some essentials are missing. This app doesn’t have an option to log warmup sets, failed sets, or dropped sets. If it does then it has a hard time making it accessible and clear to access. Second, I am unable to input the weights I plan on doing for my next workout. Yes, I can just punch them in while doing it, but having the option to set how much weight you plan on doing would save me some time. Other than those two things this app is fantastic.Show lessGreat app helps me so much with my gains
All the existing features works great but still looking for some kind of advance DropSet setup that allows the user to drop the weight during a straight set with out creating another set for it
Also different rest time per set would also be nice to haveBetter than 90% of apps I’ve tried.
Have tried lots of apps for working out and making routines. This app is the best when it comes to editing your routines - you can add custom exercises as text no need to cross fingers hoping it’s in the database. This is a good text based gym tracker.
I am also a lifetime subscriber which I think was a good deal for the ease of use and versatility of the app. I don’t mine supporting deserving engineers/developers (one myself).
One aspect I don’t use is the effort %s mainly because IMO not sure how effective this methodology is and my minimal experience with the topic.
Recommendations 2021:
No major updates have been made to the app since 2018.

I’m very impressed with the flexibility of this product.
You could use the “canned” workouts/settings in this app, but it provides so much more to tailor your workouts.
Yes, this can be complicated. Yes, this can take some work on your part... but the alternative is that you are stuck with whatever the app gives you. You can make this app do what you want.
My recommendation: set up what you think you want and use it for a week. At the end of a week, figure out what you don’t like and then go to the tutorial videos. There is most likely a setting you need to make or adjust.
The only thing I don’t like about this app is that there isn’t a good way to track cardio (cycle/elliptical/treadmill)... but this might be outside of the scope.Show less
