  • PumpSpy smart outlet

    My customer’s sump pump died and caused a water backup into his basement. I went looking for a solution that would warn him before a backup occurred and found the PumpSpy outlet. I installed it for him and he loved it. I have since installed them in several customer’s sumps and just recently installed one on my own sump at a house I’m building.

    It can be a little tricky getting it connected to your wifi, but any time I’ve had any issue at all I’ve e-mailed tech support and they have responded quickly and walked me through any issue I had. My customers that I’ve installed them for all love them and so do I.

  • Very much improved lately

    I previously left a poor review due to a session expiration error that was constantly occurring and made this app nearly useless. The developers told me it was fixed and I after a month or two of running the new version on both my iPhone and iPad, I agree with them. The app works 100% now. The pump history is faster and more reliable. I get notifications on my phone and email. This does what I expected when I purchased it. Thank you for fixing the issue!

  • Support great until it wasn’t

    I had an issue with my backup system. It was not registering when the pump went off. It work for a year or two then all of a sudden stopped. I contacted tech support who was quick to reply and help me trouble shoot. They recommend I buy a WiFi extender which I did. I now have much better connectivity to both my pumps. Pump 1 is my primary and it registers each time it goes off. Pump 2 is my backup and does not register even when I manually engage the pump. Since purchasing the extender I have email twice and called and have gotten no response. So like I said support was good but they have now gone MIA.
