  • Good not Great

The bio strap app did what it claimed to do in tracking sleep and HR parameters though it could sometimes be balky to sync up. Battery was okay but not as good as some of the newer devices. It seemed to go for about 36 hours on a charge. The device fits okay though not completely unobtrusive during sleep. Activity tracking is minimal without the shoe pod, and the shoe pod is a pain to place and keep in place. I ended up losing mine on a run, and it didn’t fit certain shoes like cycling shoes with straps instead of laces. Whether it is more or less accurate than other apps is likely depending on who’s marketing claims you go with. Finally, at its current price, I think it lacks value - too expensive for such a device.

  • App is not working on IOS

App not working properly hangs all the time
  • Don’t buy this crap decice

Without a doubt the worst wearable I’ve ever had. To add insult to injury it will set you back over $300/ >£250. Tried to return it but Biostrap make returns as laboursome as possible meaning you are stuck with it. All the components feel like cheap and nasty low grade Chinese tech.
It also doesn’t do it’s basic functions. I’ve never had one night where it’s properly recorded my sleep. And most nights it just doesn’t detect sleep at all. So I miss out on HRV and RHR data. Messaged support who basically told me I’d need to manually enter sleep data every day! Completely useless.

  • Expensive, buggy software, very poor support

Total waste of money - try looking at alternatives
  • Biostrap- game changer

It tracks reps on weight machine. Does blood oxygen, resting heart rate. It does sleep. Super athletes are around the corner. This horse will do! Biostrap will get it done!
  • Doesn’t work

Worked for a month or so, now it no longer captures any data. I have no idea why... but it’s just a useless piece of plastic now.
  • Love Biostrap! 2 years going strong!

My 2 yr old Biostrap 1.0 is fantastic! I chose Biostrap for it’s accuracy, red lights instead of green, and low emf and options to turn off bluetooth while on my wrist or reduce bluetooth readings during the day.
  • Limited usefulness

After 1 year the battery doesnt last for 8 hours. Company refuses to help and suggests I buy a new one. Would never buy a biostrap product again.

How it works: This is only useful for night time tracking of oxygen levels, heart rate and respiration rate. It is useless for sports tracking despite the website claims.. a $50 heart watch does 10x more for activity tracking. Apparently a small company with a good idea executed very poorly, and with disregard to customers. Would not trust their claims of an improved version and in any case they do not stand behind their product. Go with one of the more reliable products on the market.

  • Great app and great team!

They have a great app that has helped me get back into shape and to understand my sleep patterns better!
  • Very unimpressive.

App is buggy and difficult to navigate, and the data recording is *highly* suspect. For instance, why should it take me fifteen minutes to figure out how to change the orientation from right wrist to left wrist? And why is the FAQ blank — are there truly no frequently asked questions? And why is the HRV chart blank? And why would my 30-mile bike ride log only 11 miles, and an activity score of 81 for the day, but when I drive the family four hours in the car on the way to vacation (and nothing else that day), the activity score is 98?

Anyway, this feels like it ought to have potential but simply fails to deliver. I’ve heard great things about Whoop from literally everyone — considering making the switch.
