  • Next Level Tracking

Not only does the Biostrap offer insights from the baseline biometric tracking, each app release brings with it amazing new insights and features. I’m digging the new meditation tracking feature... it has me meditating more already!
  • Months later, still very disappointed.

I’ve had my Biostrap for more than six months now. My biggest complaints are:
    1. Automatic sleep processing. For whatever reason, it seems to think I’m sleeping at times when I’m not.. and sometimes doesn’t detect when I am actually asleep. Those inconsistencies cause skewed data which definitely doesn’t make me want to subscribe to the sleep lab service.
    2. Activity tracking. Training exercises can be a major pain and frequently fails. I have tried trading things like box jumps, cleans, clean & jerk, snatch, etc.. and all failed. I’ve performed 12-15 reps only to have the app report that no repeatable reps were detected. I’ve completely given on workout tracking, especially CrossFit, as it is completely useless. (This includes using the Shoe Pod, which I no longer even take off the charger.
    3. Background sync doesn’t seem to work. I have to open the app for the band to star syncing. I bought a new phone a few days ago and the problem happens with it as well. I have background sync enabled in settings, but it doesn’t seem to matter.

  • I like the new update

The latest firmware for the strap and shoe pod along with the iOS update is a lot more informative for data compared to the older versions. More data seems to be collected and presented. I like the new graph layouts. It took me a while however to realise the different tracking method for Gym Activity. While the devices still auto detect treadmill/bike etc you now have to ‘teach’ activity’s like Rowing which were auto detected before. Not a problem but no advice regarding this. Also not sure what the ‘Integrations’ tab is for as empty. Overall great but if kit and software.

  • False claims on their site

This is my third day of using this device and I’m already starting to hate it. Software designing at its poorest, charge lasts one night on the device with more recordings. And top it all I have nothing synced from 4pm last night till 9am this morning. Seems like all watch data is lost of device is added on another device. Superb designing team and thanks for losing my data with your incompetent software architect.

Don’t buy Biostrap all the claim and paid reviews are pushing this through social media to make you buy another mediocre device.

  • Bootstrap for life

I love and chose biostrap for a few reasons.

First, it’s lowkey and lightweight design. It doesn’t draw too much attention so it looks good with any clothing and the lightness makes me feel free while other bracelet accessories drag me down simply because I notice their presence.

Second, the heart rate variability is a biometric which I find helpful in my quest for better health. A huge part of health as happiness is stress management, and I have found that stress strongly correlates to my hr variability. The tracking of this biometric helps me stay aware of my stress levels when I am often too stress to be aware and attentive to it myself.

These are the benefits unique to the biostrap that I’ve found. The other functions like the automatic tracking of sleep work perfectly as promised. Overall I’m very happy with my choice with biostrap!

  • Great health tracking tech

I love my Biostrap, it’s a great bit of tech, regular updates and great community.

The data I get back is fantastic, with detail and breadth of info,

I predominantly use to track my sleep and biohacking performance, I’ve tripled my deep sleep in less than 4 months
  • Great product and app

I've had mine for about a month and love it. I've never used a wearable before. The thing I like most is (and what separates Biostrap from the rest) is the superior customer service and the community of users that's being built and fostered. If anyone has an issue, not only do the employees work tirelessly to remedy it, other users chime in with suggestions. Not only are you getting a great product, you're getting a great experience.

  • Insanely cool

This is as cool as it gets. This technology is years ahead of other similar gadgets on the market and I am so SO impressed. The device is small and nifty and the app is fantastic. 10/10!!!
  • Valuable health tool

I have been extremely happy with this device. The information is very helpful for achieving my health goals. HRV is a measure that few devices give, and it’s valuable for understanding the impact of workouts and how well you are recovering so you know if you need more rest or are ready to hit it hard. Or, if you are getting sick!

It’s also valuable, along with resting heart rate to understand the impact of your diet on your body. This has really opened my eyes and as a result, caused me to think twice about what I eat and drink.

Sleep is another valuable data set, and again, you can see how lack of sleep, or great sleep affects your body in multiple ways.

It’s important to understand this is not “instant gratification” data, the value is in the trends, and the trend graphs are very good.

Finally, the app is constantly improving and additional features are being added. There is a vibrant group on Facebook that the developers monitor and respond to. They do the occasional Facebook live so questions can be asked and answered, and they take action on the feedback.

It’s a great team to work with, and a great device!

  • Best wearable out there

Honestly this is by far the best wearable out there, and I've tried them all. Yes the app may have issues once in a while, just like any other app, but it's easily resolved within seconds and customer support is awesome! Love checking how sleep impacts my HRV and being able to train any workout in the library.
