It’s good!

So far this app is good I love the free choices as other apps pressure you into buying a package that you don’t know will work. I haven’t been consistent with this so I haven’t had results but I will be starting tomorrow on this for sure, I’m in the routine of going to the gym 4 times a week already and starting to eat healthier. So I think this will all be a perfect mix. You just have to remember that in order to loose weight no matter what you do unfortunately you have to eat healthy and do some exercise 99% of the time. It’s the harsh truth. I wish everyone luck!! 🙃

This app helped me take control

I was fasting on my own without an app for about a month before I found this app. I was writing down my fasts on a calendar and it was really hard to kinda keep track of when and where of everything. When I found this app I tried it for the basic version for a few days and I really liked the features of scheduling out my week and being able to plan ahead. I did decide to do coach and I’m super impressed with the new things that were unlocked! This app has been making it so much easier for me to set my fasts around my work schedule (I work at different times each day, so I wouldn’t be able to eat at the same times each day). I really like being able to see where I am at with my fasts, and how it’s working within my body! It’s super interesting and being able to know what exactly is happening helps motivate me! I also really like that this app is more than just a fasting timer. It allows you to track your fast, track your water intake, track your weight, track your body measurements, and the challenges that it loads up during your week keeps the fast fun. I totally thought that this would be all smoke and mirrors but seeing the physical results, it’s one of those things that, if you feel like you have tried everything, you can’t stop yourself from yo-yoing, and you’re looking to put in the hours, this is definitely for you, and this app is worth it!!!

Great App

I love this app, it keeps me on track with my 5:2 fasting days which is great and gives me the encouragement I need to keep at it!

I was recently excited to see you could not have a widget of this app on your home screen which shows you whether you are fasting or eating and gives a countdown. I added this the other day and it really helped to check it throughout fast days! However I was disappointed this morning to see that although I am on a non fast day the widget still indicates I am fasting and has a countdown until midnight. It should actually say eating and have a countdown to next week. Can this be fixed?? Thanks!

Easy to use

Being a CFS sufferer I am limited to what exercise I can do, I am a qualified personal trainer who had to quite due to CFS. This plan is perfect, easy to follow and already after just 5 weeks I have changed my eating habits, I only eat when I’m hungry, not because I’m bored! Total lose so far 4 inches and 3lb!
Don’t stress about the weight loss, concentrate on the loss of inches! Less is more regarding the weight, the slower it comes off the longer it stays off!

Not very useful past week 1

It is a good educational app... for about a week. Once you get through your first week, this app has very limited use. In fact, some of the features are not user-friendly at all (e.g., try changing fasting times to the actual start time of “last night at 22:30” is not allowed.) Too rigid on what it allows a user to do (e.g., you actually must “close” a week to be able to start the next... even when the actual “next” week has already started.)

Lastly, as a first time user I am not convinced of the value of any of the coaching plans. Perhaps the developer should consider a “freemium” option or explain better what a coach can do. Honestly, I really see no value at the moment 😕

I was skeptical but I am already seeing results

At first I didn’t think that this would work. I still wonder if the results I am seeing are just the placebo effect, but I really am seeing rapid results. If anything,I am way less bloated now and my waist is more snatched. It’s hard to stop snacking without setting specific rules for yourself, and this app allows you to gain control more easily. I like fasting because I don’t count calories I just eat at specific times. I have found it very easy to just not eat during the fasting period and not gorge myself during the eating period. I eat much less but still eat a good amount. I used to snack before I went to bed and now I don’t. I used to eat a whole lot and then feel guilty and even considered throwing it up. Getting rid of that toxic mindset has been really helpful in making my days better. I also find I have more energy at school. If anything, fasting boosts my confidence (and that’s all that matters).

A Friends Success

I learned about IF from a friend who lost weigh at a healthy pace and I asked how she was doing it. She told me about Body Fast, so after much investigation and her strong recommendations I downloaded the app and paid for the coach. It has taken me a few weeks to learn the app (still learning) it has been something that doesn’t feel restrictive and burdensome like counting calories, WW meetings...etc. Because of the discipline it takes not to eat during the fasting period, I now have the mindset to make healthy choices during the non-fasting times, which has led to my overall well-being mentally and physically.

Needs to be more inclusive

I’m tired of seeing anything these days that doesn’t have more inclusivity and developers need to be held more accountable. There are more than female & male genders. When using the word gender, you should think about including more options; non-binary, transgender, even just including prefer not to say or other is better. If you want to know someone’s biological sex then your question should ask what your sex is. It has probably deterred a lot of people from signing up. I, myself am a cisgendered female, but it’s almost 2021 and there needs to be some change with a lot of things. Please consider updating the app to include more gender options, or make it clear you’re asking for biological sex. — Otherwise, the app is great!!

Great App & Very Helpful

So far so good I just started doing intermittent fasting and when I typed it into my browser to learn more this was the first app that came up. I like that it not only helps with keeping a schedule it also gives you an option to pay for a coach or not (a lot of apps don’t give you a choice you either pay for the service or you don’t use the app lol). Granted most of the app isn’t open unless you pay for a coach, but for what I need it for and the basics are all free so if you’re like me you can at least use it without having to pay for a coach and whatnot. The other thing I really like is during fasting it has a list of everything you will go through after whatever time frame you’re at. It tells you what your body is doing at this particular milestone (4hrs, 8hrs or whatever) and how you can fix it. That alone is helpful because if you’re just starting out it’s refreshing to see what you may be experiencing at that particular moment. All the other stuff like keeping track of water intake, weight and other fitness stuff is cool too but it’s kind of expected.
