Great concept!
Great concept, it would be nice if there was a way to see the shifts in time because territories changed in response to colonial interference. This is a massive undertaking. Thank you for doing this!
Respect
A truly amazing beginning to make people aware of so much history and PST that we are not taught in schools, if the info could stay in the app instead of opening a web page it would be ever more dynamic and I honestly cannot wait until it add to South America!!! Congratulations and thank you!!
Great idea needs more development.
This is so great and not to take away from its ideology, my hopes for this app is that it’s capable of drawing on indigenous participation in achieving more developed boundary lines and treaties. Right now I’m situated in Ojibwe territories however I am Yupik and Inupiaq. Since I have learned some of the boundaries I was excited to see that there is an app and.I came here to learn more about these lands however the map is not accurate yet. Good luck on developing and this is a great start in which I’m sure the vision will achieve a lot more participation and honing in on our amazing history. In one of my languages I say Quyana Caknek!

Great educational tool!
I travel a lot and love to use this app as a starting point to find information about the First People and Native American groups living in the area I’m visiting.
It is a great educational tool to show how full of different people North America was before settlers imposed their own borders onto it. I’ve had great discussions with my kids about fuzzy borders, language dialects, ancestry, adaptation to difficult environments, and even politics of traditional land claims using this app as a starting point and exploration tool.

An amazing resource
It's fantastic to have something like this that's easy to use and gives quick access to the indigenous land we occupy. A really beneficial app to learn about our land's history and be more aware for the future.
Not too bad so far
This app covers a lot of ground in North America. I’d like to see the nations broken down to tribe. For example the Sioux can be broken down into Lakota, Dakota, etc. as can the Ojibwe nation.
Impressive!
I love this. What a great resource. I know so much work has gone into this, hopeful for an addition that lists more specific territorial markers and maybe even list locations of reserves?
Brilliant
This is a brilliant app.
Finally a map for Indigenous Peoples
I love this app!!! There is finally one where I can show my son where and how far our tribe traveled for food and trade. My husband can see why so many of his family claim a native background relative to where they lived in the past. I flat out got misty eyed as this map makes it feel like I count on the map of history.
