Great but not great!

Listen, the concept is cool but just go ahead and make it a usable tablet like any other tablet. Get the apps I want to get not a set limit, use it just as a tablet or iPad. No reason to be so limited. People have so many different apps they use to plan life with and having to learn an app that doesn’t communicate well with others is a pain. Just let it be open for use and likability with existing platforms. It’s always sucked to be so limited on app choice.

Useless

Can connect to the family hub app/fridge. States need to make a profile where there is no option to do this.

It keeps logging out. And when you try to log back in it says to add the fridge to your profile while that’s already done and even re doing it does not help.

Samsung hub no longer works for iPhone

Samsung have chosen to disable this app and have not replaced the functionality for iPhone users,
Consumers should complain and ask for refunds on their Samsung smart fridges as the fridge no longer is capable of doing what it was intended to do.
Samsung have chosen the easy path to support by removing the app and expect users to use smart things , which has no features and does not work well for iPhones

No longer works

At first this app worked with my refig now that they have upgraded the app all of a sudden it no longer works and I can’t upload current pictures to the refig or change certain things. What’s the purpose of the upgrade if we can no longer use it once it get pass 6.0 upgrade.

Family Flub - A Total Waste of an LED Screen

This deserves to be a Harvard case study of incompetence. Samsung clearly has market share in this industry, and has good solid tech which it steals from Apple and others. But the problem is the major tech companies are not in the home appliance consumer space, so Samsung is on it own to innovate here, and there you go. You get a piece of worthless glass that connects to nothing, and is essentially useless in your kitchen. Idea: take the money you are saving by not creating software, and build a better compressor for the unit. Now that would be innovative!!!

Update

Since the hub update there’s even less apps that are available on the hub.
Many didn’t work in the first place so can only hope Samsung read the feedback and fix the issues which prevented you logging in with services such as Uber.
Hopefully more apps will be added as they have been very limited to date for such an expensive item.

Broken app

Just got our new Samsung refrigerator and love it. The Smart Thing app works great with my iPhone, but this family hub app is horrible. I can do what I need to get done on the main screen on the refrigerator, but no matter how hard I try, there is no way to get past the log in screen on this app. I am given the option of either logging out or “show me how” which sends me into an infinite loop of logging out and logging in again on the refrigerator.

Terrible.

App doesn’t even open most of the time.
No exaggeration, majority of the time it does not open, just keeps trying to load or keeps being Ling up the Terms & Conditions page, over and over.
